So I just ordered the 2” Mopar lift kit for my Rubicon. I just saw a picture someone posted of their truck and it looks like there is quite a bit of rake. For you guys that have done it, would you recommend the leveling kit in addition to the lift? I really don’t want much rake. Thanks…

It maintains the same rake as original factory suspension.

If you don't like that rake, or are going to put more weight on front (bumper, winch, etc) get some spacers.

Yes, there is since it is the same rake as factory suspension. Even with a .75" spacer up front to account for the weight of aftermarket bumper, winch and lights, mine still had quite a bit of rake to it.

I’ve factory steel bumper and 12k Apex winch up front and use the 1.5” TerraFlex spacers to get it to even out.

Also keep in mind, if you're looking at pictures of newly lifted JT's then you have to account for the springs settling out. After a week or so the new springs will have settled to their normal height.

I just installed the Mopar 2". I have a steel bumper and winch so I added Teraflex 1" spacers at the same time and it is very level that way. You can buy just the 1" spacers from Teraflex for $49 (they call them JT diesel level spacers but they are just the 1" spacers from the regular leveling kit)

What made you decide on the Mopar lift?
I was going t to go with the Falcon lift intending on mounting 37’s when my 35’s wear out but decided to stay with the 35’s from now on. Don’t need anymore than that.

I measured mine once, I think it was 1" lower in the front and I have a steel bumper and a winch.

2 inch Mopar lift on my JTRD. Had the dealership install a front 3/4 inch spacer at the same time lift was installed. Truck sits level.

I wouldn't add a coil spacer to the Mopar lift.

Sure it'll work, but that kit is designed for the 2" coils. Nothing is adjustable. The shocks included with the kit may have enough extended length for a small spacer, but if not, your shocks will be a little too short. Nothing major, but enough to bother my OCD.
