I am currently in the process of FCA buying back my 2020 Jeep Gladiator. This all began on 8/29/2020 when my car went into the shop for the first time. On October 30th myself and FCA agreed and signed on the buyback price. I was told it would take up to 20 days for the check to be printed. Once the checks are printed they have to go back to the retention division and someone from the disposition team will call me to schedule the surrender. Has anyone recently gone thru a buyback from FCA, if so what is the turnaround time to get this scheduled and to surrender it over? I feel like this has gone on way too long.

Haven't done one in years but did it on a Dodge Dakota. From the time they approved, it took about 2 weeks for them to call me and then they arranged with a dealership for the surrender. In this time of COVID it may take a little longer. Looks like you are right there with the timeline...20 days or so.

Oh, you are on the fast track! Ugh, I started this last June regarding my Ram truck going back under buyback/lemon law. I just heard yesterday, that it could still be another 3 months before they actually set a turn in date. All the paperwork etc is in the hands of FCA lawyers, bean counters.

What is the reason for your Gladiator buyback? What is the production month and year?

As one who has had many vehicles over the years, but is going through this lemon law thing for the first time, it sure makes one go into OCD mode researching every vehicle.

I've got a Gladiator on order and am constantly reading/worrying about all these check engine lights, other Gladiator issues and losing sleep that I may get another turd.

What are you replacing the Gladiator with.
