Any benefit to doing this? I have a friend who did this on his JL Rubicon and decided to run Curry Antirock sway bars instead.

He said the Curry setup works much better and the electronic disco breaks too much. From what I can see one benefit is less hardware up front to hit with rocks or other road debris. I kind of like the less cluttered front end myself.

Thoughts?

First off, the swaybar disconnect IS prone to failure, and EVO sells a manual disconnect for CHEAP to replace it. JKS makes a more expensive mechanical cable kit to do the same thing. Having driven extensively with the swaybar disconnected in 2 Hi and appreciating VERY much the soft compliant ride, I would go with either of those solutions in favor of the Anti-Rock system.

With the arm adjustments needing tuned for each application, including changes in compliance for terrain and vehicle weight, I am fine with factory bar tuning I can turn off with a switch.

Edit to add: If the disconnect gets damaged offroad THROUGH the Rubicon skidplate, you're going to have a LOT of other more important broken $hit to worry about first.

So many other, more important things to think about and worry about than this. Really

Why fix something if it isn't broken. And when it does break you can either fix it or replace it with something "better"

Hey now! I’ve spent thousands, tens of thousands, on replacing stuff that isn’t broken. I thought that was foundational to the Jeep lifestyle. Am I doing it wrong??? Lol.

Currie antirock front and rear and be done. Or you can research Swayloc too.
