They had 2 years and came up with this penis attachment for the camera lol

And It’s connected to a little blue button that turns the camera on for over 3 hours, no matter how fast you go...

At least it's girthy.

In fairness, this might push the camera into a spot where it's easier to see objects in front of you, could be wrong. Overall, the bumper looks good, but for the price, I just don't see the point of buying this over the Mopar one.

I admit I'm a pretty big fan of AEV (I own their Borah beadlock wheels and I'm buying their Savage wheels for daily use on the JTRD) -- but my vehicle already came with the Mopar steel bumper, and I just don't see the point in getting rid of that (I'd probably get $500 on CL) and spending an additional $1700 on this.

A lottery for the privilege to spend that kind of money on a bumper. The economy is rolling. First world problems for sure.

I think AEV has the best looking bumper available and I have no doubts about quality...that being said for literally 1/4 the cost I have no regrets going with LOD.

$2000 for a stamped steel bumper and winch plate has to be a typo. I paid $1000 shipped for my ARB and IMO the two look fairly similar (in full width at least) and definitely not at least double the cost difference.

I also bet the full width will “ only”be $350 or so more than the Mid because it looks like they’ll just add modular “wings” to it like the Mopar bumper

The AEV bumper starts at $1,800, but adding a winch mount and skid plate adds another ~$500, plus there are a few other options.

I agree on the ARB, very similar looking (especially stubby) and much more reasonably priced. I am an admitted AEV fanboy though!

That AEV setup covers at least 60% of the grille. Anyone who says we are dumb for being worried about cooling is being delusional.

This style of bumper is what we prefer in Aus! With the chance of hitting a kangaroo, or even worse a wombat, we prefer the full hoop and protection.

Having said that, at that price, one could just tow a small car behind and use that in the eventuality of 'Roo vs Ute'.

Not only NO, but HELL NO!!

Hey AEV.... If the front bumper is "now available" why the lottery to see who gets to buy one? I have looked at this bumper on other veicles and YES it stands alone and yes I will buy one; however, after a year of hearing excuses for failing to deliver other items (Covid-19 is the last word I want to hear from any vendor) I have gown beyond impatient. Sell me the bumper.....

The lights are an extra $999. The winch is $1400. The skid plate light bar isn’t even shown on the website. But all said and done you’d be looking at $5K + shipping for the combo pictured. Seems high. I’m very disappointed as I was hoping to buy the full length EX version due out next month. Surely it will cost more than the RX version. Hard to justify those prices. I guess I’ll be looking for a Mopar steel bumper. ?
seems high????? lol,

Nope.

If you have the front facing trail cam that hoop is gonna block it. And I agree 100% with the airflow/cooling concerns.

I’ll stick with my Trail Ready bumper!
