Search & Go - Do I have a Unicorn?

First of all I will mention I am in Canada in case my USA friends are very familiar with this feature, it is not well known around here.
My Uconnect has a feature called Search & Go. This is not the same as Send & Go using the smartphone app.



I went to my dealership and they were surprised and know nothing about it. They went out and checked a loaded LE JTR and it doesn't have this Search & Go feature either.

Perhaps @JeepCares might have some insight to share.

Thoughts?

The Loo is great. Pretty quiet...such as it is with much of the country. I gather that you're familiar with the region? I know little of VI but have plans to join a new BC friend (in W. Van) for some great N. Pacific scuba diving. The timing of it is still very much up in the air.

A H.S. friend went to U of Waterloo, so I spent a good amount of time there in my youth, I'm not a diver, but hear it is great here

I get the same message that I'm not subscribed to Search and Go, but don't see any place to sign up for it.

Bump for any updates on Search & Go. (this is not the same thing as Uconnect Send & Go)
Who has it and does it work? If you have it working, how did you go about subscribing?

Gotta sign up for the Uconnect subscription. If you go to apps, there should be a button to connect to their customer service and speak to an agent. You should get the first year free on purchase of the Gladiator.

When I tap the on-screen 'VR' icon (as seen in my video) it tells me I need a subscription and go to the Uconnect site. There is nothing about this on the Uconnect site.
Therefore, the icon is there whether subscribed or not. :)

When like 99.7% of buyers of these trucks will have an Apple or Android phone I wonder why they even bother with their rickety old nav. Android Auto destroys the stock one, and Apple Maps is even better.

I always use AA.
At this point, it's now an OCD issue for me. It's there and it doesn't work. Drives me a little nuts.
I suspect, just like the VR steering wheel button, that it is not restricted to the Navigation commands.

Got the answer!
Use Uconnect > Location > type in address > when it comes up > tap pushpin > select send to vehicle > done.
But damn inconvenient
