Question re: diode on aux lights

Flush mount Rigid Ignite Backup Kit, very bright but not to bright for vehicle behind you in parking lots a night. I got the flood diffused lights not the spotlights.

There are less expensive LED options that will work just as well, but beware you are limited on the size of the lights especially the mounting area behind the light.

Ye did a good job..... Thought about doing what ye did but trying to cut into the original reflector and mounting one...or I just may wait and get one of those factory made ones that (oh shoot can't remember company name) that ask peeps here which one they like best , A or B. Thanks.

Another option that's much easier...
I went with an LED replacement 921 lamp:

A LOT brighter than the stock incandescent 921.

I ended up mounting a pair off led pods I had on hand (Northern tools) using the Curt harness and just tied into the blue wire to activate. With them, the tag lights don't wash out the view anymore.
