Not the run of the mill question! Originally was going to buy the duel top group but ended up finding my gladiator on the lot, most options were there and I drove it home! One that it didn’t have was the soft top and I want one. Saw I can get it from Quadratec but it’s crazy high. Found a few on the listings here but most are a long haul for me. So my question is do I get the discounts through mopar that I got when I purchased the Jeep? Or does someone know where I can get a better price on one? Thanks for any help!

If you’re patient you’ll find one on Craigslist, this forum, or Facebook. I bought a premium soft top unused from Craigslist for $750. It’ll be going on in a month or so for the first time.

I’ve been watching but haven’t seen many! And patience is a virtue that I missed out on!

Probably because most people bought there's with the hard top. The one's who got them with soft top did so specifically and are not likely selling them so the one's on the market seem to be from the dual top purchasers who have decided part with them. That's how I got mine. Bought it from a dual top owner who didn't want it and then I sold my Hard Top

I knew better... not my first Jeep. But I did think some aftermarket tops would’ve been available by now! Going to be going to the stealership soon to see how bad it’s going to hurt!

Not sure if there is enough market to interest 3rd party. When I purchased mine last year from what I gathered talking to them was that everyone wanted hard top. I wanted Soft Top and they couldn't find anyone near me in the models I was looking at so I went Hard Top then went in search of facebook, etc for a new premium soft top.

Bestop will eventually release theirs. Im betting jeep made them wait a year or so in order to push the mopar branded ones first. I bet they release their own version and hopefully in a tan or brown color. I read somewhere bestop makes the mopar one

You are correct that Bestop makes the Mopar/stock soft top. I don't see them making another version of the soft top just to satisfy people that don't like the "man bun" look.
The amount of money it would take for R&D just to get a small percentage of sales probably not worth it.

I don't think they're going to make another version But they will probably be allowed to sell a bestop Branded one after some period of mopar exclusivity expires.

That would be the best scenerio but it needs to come at a better price than what Mopar is asking for the tops

Your best bet is to take a decent drive to get one. Mopar wants way to much for these things.

Bestop I think will come out with one, but who knows when. Still waiting on JL/JT core doors....

Thanks actually there’s two places that you can get one! Quadratec and dealers! Dealer beat Quadratec by 600. That’s tax and no shipping cost! Still looking for maybe a used/new one that someone wants gone!

If your not in a rush just keep checking the forums, Facebook Market Place, etc. Awhile back there was nothing and then all of a sudden there were like 3 soft tops up for sale near me in Houston. Yes most of them would have been a 2-3 hour drive but if I was in the market a tank of gas and couple of hours was well worth the reduction in cost over mopar and Quadratec

I’ll keep watching but there’s nothing within a 3 hour drive. I found one an hour away but nothing back from the seller! And it’s just 500 cheaper than new from the dealer. But I’m still looking!

I was in the same boat friend. I waited and got a fantastic deal from a forum member. My wife and I ended up making a weekend trip out of meeting the member so it was a good experience all around. Just put the soft top on a couple days ago and its awesome. I love being able to switch to the soft too in spring/summer and the hard top in fall/winter
