What are folks on here recommending for replacement brakes? Mainly this should be a sticky for pads, but maybe rotors, calipers, and drum brakes.

Dealership told me I'd need to replace brakes in 15k miles (when I brought in the vehicle for a look over at 35k miles), Im gonna assume they just meant the pads.

That's a little surprising how quick those brakes wore on your Jeep given the mileage. Larger tires on the Sport brakes maybe?

My plan, when the time comes in 80k mi or so, is plain Centric Vented Blank rotors and either OEM pads or something from EBC if I want more heat capacity.. In my experience at least, drilled or slotted rotors just add spots for rotors to crack and seem to be bandaids for low heat capacity. I've been satisfied with the OEM pad performance and in my experience aftermarket pads usually have a handful of tradeoffs that may or may not be worth it.

Large and very heavy tires, yes. However, 50k miles is what I would expect out of brakes. Is that not normal? I like to slow down without the brake application when I can, so it isnt like I am really wearing them from fast braking. It could have been that 3hr offroad trail through mud and ruts, that ate a significant amount. See profile pic.

My experience on other vehicles has been that drilled rotors crack and slots don’t. That only a couple vehicle sample but they were half ton trucks and Tahoe’s.

50k is a pretty short life span.
When it comes time for mine? I’ll use the same type of brake pad.
My rotors front and rear are vented. I don’t see a centric rotor providing any benefit. I don’t see any ā€œhigh performanceā€ rotor offering any benefit.

you arent entering a corner fast, trail braking, and mashing the throttle on exit; rinse and repeat, multiple times in 1.8 miles. :)

I expect around 80k for brakes. How about The max tow supposedly has "heavy duty" brakes. I suppose they will last the same amount of time, just more surface area compared to the standard brakes?

I would check them yourself, as it’s not likely you really need them at that mileage. If/when you do need them, check out the PowerStop Z36 pads.
Suppose I didnt know what to look for?

Centric is just a brand unless you know something I don't. "Blank" is the style of rotor meaning no slots or holes. Agreed that non-blanks are more trouble than they're worth.

Any idea how they stack up against EBC Yellow Truck pads?

Centric has a few different offerings.
I guess some gladiators don’t have vented rear rotors? I’d this is the case, then could be a worthwhile upgrade.

is it diesel and max tow that only get rear vented brakes?

So if 50k is too soon for wear, I'm just over 36k miles and heading to the dealership for looking into an occasional oscillating noise in the rear when it's cold (goes away after a few seconds of driving), should I ask them to look at anything else?

Sticky caliper? Slide pins need greasing?

or, the abs/traction control at work could accelerate wear.
If memory serves, seems like my old JK’s rear brakes wore out before the fronts. General consensus was the bias for rear brake pressure was upped?

this could be a reason for rear brake accelerated wear.

Power Stop is my go to choice. I get the kit for towing / heavy duty. They're awesome. My opinion of course.

You just need to pull off a wheel and check the pad thickness on both pads. I have to admit that I didn’t read your post well, and it is possible you would need pads at 50k miles. They should be replaced when they get to about 1/8ā€ thickness, but the indicators should also start making noise around that time.
