Rear fender chop done but have questions?

For those of you that have done the rear fender chop...did you mold your old inner liners to fit, buy new ones, paint the inside black, or leave it? I’m just curious bc of the electronics in the driver side fender.

They do look good just not trying to spend so much on fender liners

anyone remold the factory ones to fit?

I cut and molded mine with a heat gun, then secured them to the under side of the flare using zip ties. I cut a piece of angled plastic as a guard for the sensors. Any idea what those sensors are?

For now I just decided to paint it. And it came out better than expected. Looks much better in person. Also trimmed up the price I took off to fill in the bottom towards the rear. Much nicer now.

It’s been perfect so far. Just prep and get some good paint and you’ll be fine.

Sawzall then filed the edge so it looked nice.

Yes I did. Used 3m double sided tape from Walmart. Works great. Put it through hell and no chance of it moving yet.
