After how many days of ownership do you still stare at your Truck?

When will you stop staring/gawking at your "new" truck?

All of my "cool" vehicles get the stare treatment. Many many many hours spent in the garage looking at them from different angles to get ideas. JT will be no different!
Other than an original 66 Mustang with 289 and C4 auto and pony interior i bought back in 75, pretty sure I've never had a "cool" ride before. I go out to look at our new JT just to get a smile upon my face. Even down the road seems it's miles of smiles.

I regularly sit on my couch and look fondly out the window at my JT. I hope that never fades.

I flick my garage light on just to smile and stare for a few seconds. I've owned plenty of cool/high performance low production vehicles and never did that. The Gladiator is special to me. I think its because I wanted one for so long and never thought Jeep would actually sell them.

I grew up close to Adams. Is Carson Run Deli across the street still open? They had the best Italian Cold Cut subs I ever had, and that homemade jalapeno mayo, boy howdy.

Not sure..gotta check it out next time I’m over that way. I live in PA and work on Aberdeen (now from home for the last 14 months) my Jeep - JTRSPARTACUS has grown up some since this pic. Still look back at it..

It looks good, I like that bumper setup. My brother works on APG as well. We grew up in Bel Air. Id be surprised if the deli survived RINO Hogan's COVID restrictions. When I was the GM at the Aberdeen Mr. Tire I frequented there and it was a family run small business. Good people.

Just passed 1 year!
Still modding, breaking, fixing, dreaming, planning trips and wheeling. I don’t drive it every day, so it’s still a lot of fun when I do - topless as often as I can get away with it!

Just added vinyl decals and getting more heads turning and Jeep waves:like:

I can't vote as your poll only goes to 2 years.
So far, ~870 days.

One and a half years into owning it. But these days it is a look of longing because my plans for the summer went out the window on April 10 when I tripped and broke my arm - fractured the greater tuberosity off of the humerus bone. Had to have surgery to repair it (plate and screws) and will not have full use - or at least strong enough use - for quite some time. Also ruined my veggie gardening for the summer. Next year I guess.

2 years and still staring. It’s worse when it’s recently been washed and that blue is glimmering. Or I swap the wheels/tires for the season. Or take any combination of the top and doors off, and again when they go back on. Oh, sunny days especially. And then when it gets muddy.

Come to think of it, I don’t think this whole staring thing is going away anytime soon.

Its been about a month and I still turn around once or twice every morning as I walk into work just to check out my truck. I find myself gawking at home too when I should be cleaning the garage or stacking firewood.

Wonder when the novelty will wear off if ever......

I've owned a 82' Srambler, a 99' TJ, an 04' Unlimited, a 98' TJ, and a 05 2dr Rubicon. I've always stared at jeeps. I've always wanted a Gladiator from the first time I read about them in a 4x4 magazine. Now I get to stare at my 22' Gladiator max tow every day.
