So I've been searching through all of the threads on bumpers for Mojave's and it got me thinking why not just relocate the remote reservoirs and not worry about the stock skid plate? That would allow us to shave the weight of the skid plate on the front as well as go with something like the Genright ultra clearance bumper where you cut off the frame horns, I personally think that style looks much better and outperforms the bumper and skid plate setup in every way (weight, appearance, approach angle, etc.) Has anyone successfully done this?

Following....I hate the cheap ass skid plate and would just rather move reservoirs as you've mentioned. I would think the aftermarket would have addressed this by now.

Yea same, I was looking at Genrights builds and it seems on their builds they just mount the reservoir to the top of the inner fender, pretty sure they are running aluminum inner fenders though. I'll have to look at it more closely. I don't know if we would have enough clearance up there with it flexed out.

Following. I'd like to do a high clearance front bumper on my Mojave but have yet to see anyone relocate the reservoirs. I want to know where and how they'd mount somewhere else.

One of the main issue I see is that the hoses are so long due to the factory mounting position. It may require new hoses.
