Hello! After months of going back and forth between trim levels and options, I'm finally ready to place an order for a Gladiator. I've seen several folks around here posting that they've had good luck at certain dealerships being willing to take X% off the MSRP when they do an order, but I didn't see any specific to Central Florida.

I was working with someone over at the New Smyrna Beach location, but they put their foot down immediately and said that the price is the price, and that's that. (If that's the case with every dealership because of the current supply chain, then that's fine, but the sales rep didn't exactly elaborate.)

Has anyone had a good experience at any dealerships around Central Florida, or know of any that are more flexible about pricing? Or is every dealership going to be more or less the same right now due to the post-pandemic supply chain?

I got mine from New Smyrna CJDR in March 6%, below inv. Dealt with Savino in sales and Chase the GM no issue at all ... I'm surprised .. must be the low supply high demand driving up prices ...

Hm, I wonder if they've just changed their policies then. I've been exchanging emails and calls with a guy named Corey. He's been fine, just a little terse.

Worth a shot to to call in and ask for Savino Belleneli in sales and start from scratch. Mention a forum member sent you his way for 6% below invoice that Chase Firestone GM will approve .. I was informed of the deal on this forum and approached the process as described, had no issues ... hope the same for you ...

Definitely not Central Florida CDJR. I think they're the dealership that was specifically called out for excessive fees in a YouTube channel with their Central Florida Family Advantage and the pre-delivery fee of $999 and so much more.

I'm actually sitting at Napleton up in Clermont right now. They've been incredibly polite and transparent about everything so far.

All the large public dealerships are terrible. My recommendation is a small dealership. I personally went to Mount Dora for mine after going to 4 or 5 local ones. Lazy sales managers pushing you off to sales without budging, huge traffic and customer bases and they simply don't care. Massive difference to the tune of around 5k. Between trade value and purchase.

Well, just for posterity's sake (if anyone else in Central FL is in the market) - Napleton in Clermont was fantastic in every way.

I worked with a guy named Parker in Sales, definitely a straight shooter. He was as transparent as he could be about helping me figure out what options made the most sense for me. (He said they are paid on volume, not sale price, so they have no incentive to gouge you on extras.)

His manager Megan threw in a spray-in bedliner and hard tonneau cover for me for only $300 because the truck on their lot didn't have those, and I really wanted them.

Jayce in the finance/business area was great as well. He made the ridiculous amount of paperwork as painless as possible, was straight up with me about the cost of warranty and if it made sense for me, and I walked out happy.

Literally every single person I interacted with there was polite, and genuinely friendly. It's hard to explain, but you can tell when a dealership is trying to take you for a ride financially, and if they're just in it for the profit - that's absolutely not the case here. It's a big group of helpful people that are truly interested in making your visit a pleasure, and getting you into the vehicle that makes the most sense for you at a price you can afford.
