I love the trailer but hate that it's bedlined. It just looks kinda rough to me. I'd like to have nice flat panels for decals or graphics or something to give it a clean look.

I saw some guys on YouTube who used a citric based remover with success. My fear is that it will negatively effect whatever is underneath (some sort of wood I think). The other option is just to put some sort of panel/siding overtop the bed lined sides.
Here is a pic of it for reference.

Kinda the cleaner look I'd like to go for (but maybe some color.)

Good luck removing it. Leave it be for a solid base. Try DA'ing to level it out. Skim coat with filler, DA again, start shooting high fill primer, block sand and final paint. Buff it out beautiful.
Then take it wheeling and camping and trash it.....
Maybe sheet parts of it in thin aluminum.

I already tested one spot. Came right off little to no elbow grease.

Removers that are citrus oil based will soak into untreated/uncoated wood and then good luck getting it primed. They're fine for the metal surfaces but you might just want to take a heavy duty scraper to any wood sections then give it a quick sand.
