I have a full size ikamper 2.0 on my truck that extends over the cab so my truck doesn't fit in my garage. I've been searching for a hoist system that can go up high enough safely, where I can use it to install and remove 165 lbs tent by myself but having no luck so far. So, I would like to ask anyone that is in the same shoes as me... how do you guys solve this issue without having a friend or two helpers? Thanks in advance

Just above that garage door is a header. You can drill two holes and install two bolts. Attach your home made "L" bracket with a hoist. When finished, remove the bracket and reinstall the bolts painted to match the brick.

Wall hoist, the bracket has 4 mount holes but you can drill 2 in the center to make it easier to install. You are kind of limited where you are in the driveway.

Looks like I will be pulling my RSI Smart cap for a photo shoot in May (Jeep Wedding). We were just going to take the top off for a semi naked look, but now it all comes off. Now I think tube doors would look nice.
It all comes off in South Carolina not here at the house. So I was looking at an option for myself. I have a post to use.

I may just get this one and try to find an extension bar that could be used. Thanks!
I purchased the Two Ton version of the one I linked. I got it on sale a couple years ago. It looks like they don't have it any more. The Two ton models they carry now are more expensive.

I believe he's looking because the truck is too tall to get into the garage. I had to come up with something since I have no garage.

A telescoping gentry that allows adjustment to go low enough to fit through garage would be perfect, but then I can also just leave the tent on my truck all year round.

A telescoping canopy that allows for adjustable height would indeed be a great solution, especially if you need it to fit through a garage. It would provide the flexibility to use it in various settings while still being convenient to store when not in use. Leaving the tent on your truck year-round can also be a viable option if it doesn't interfere with your regular usage and provides the convenience you desire. Ultimately, finding the approach that best suits your needs and preferences is key.
