Ballpark cost?

Roughly $10k plus time to make the conversion. If you started with an ARE shell and converted that, you could save a lot of time and $. But I wanted a more stock look.

This looks incredible. As for the interior - by looking at the original Stage 3 concept - it looks as though the second and third rows are (or will be) open to each other. Did you open up the cab/bed wall yet or is that a later stage?

The rear bulkhead is still there, but the upper half of the truck is now a pass through. I originally wanted to do a full connection, but the rear seats mount into the rear wall and the net benefit of cutting the rear wall was only a few inches.

Here we are on the way out of Poison Spider, The back bumper was a little longer than a lot of these drops would have liked.

Looks like the most I would ever flex my Gladiator. The shell passes the flex test. Great idea to add the roll cage for stiffness!

Thanks everyone, this has been a great build and an amazing truck. We are now looking to do our next build. Does anyone have any suggestions that they would love to see made? I’m looking to build something even a little more out there for Moab 2023. This was conservative cosmetically and I think more extreme would be fun. I want to start with another vehicle, but it could be a gladiator base as well. Let me know what you think you would want but haven’t seen. Thanks

This has been such a great build to follow and scratched the "How could a Gladiator fit my family of 8?" itch. Maybe someday I'll apply some of the ideas to my own truck.

As for other build ideas - what about a stealth camper that fits a couple/2 adults but wouldn't look like a "hey I'm overlanding!" camper. Might mean extending the bed to 6' with a custom cap, maybe somehow stretches into the back seats with storage, cooking, etc. Think a Gladiator that could take a couple from Tierra del Fuego to Deadhorse but looks like it's just driving around town.
