I would agree. Although if you read about the Mojave they said they stiffened the frame for jumps. There is a video online of dudes launching one, but they don’t say if they bent anything or not. No damage was visible.
Saw them jumping one on a motocross track. They said it never bottomed out. ?

Personal preference to the point of damage. Probably no right answer because conditions and driver determines speed.

if you believe the Mojave is superior to a Raptor in every way than I think this is the benchmark. No seriously, don’t do that but it’s fun to watch.

One of my favorite videos of all time! Idiots doing dumb things.

I am getting tired of these Mojave buyers saying they bought the truck because it if faster on the trails than a Rubicon. Then they post a video of their truck crawling up some trail. Then they say they can do every thing a Rubicon does. Can someone please direct me to a video of a Mojave going fast on a trail? Any trail anywhere. Thanks.
I have just over 3500 miles on my Mojave, and well over 2500 of those are in SW AZ in the EXACT terrain the Mojave was designed for. My previous ride was a '17 JKUR and the capabilities between the two machines in the "desert rated" environment is almost day and night...

I've said it before and I'll say it again, and NO, I'm not going to post a video just to make you happy, but my Mojave goes through the same whoops my '17 JKUR did, stock, as opposed to the 2.5-inch AEV lift and 35 KO2s that my Rubicon had at almost twice the speed.

Where my Rubicon's rear end would pogo-stick at 20-25 MPH my Mojave does at 40+ and does so quite comfortably. Will it go as fast as a Raptor? Nope, but a Raptor also doesn't have the 22F/24R inches of suspension travel and 15 inches of ground clearance that my Can Am X3 does either.

Having just gotten back from the trails in Northern AZ I ran my Rubicon ragged over for the past few years and getting to run them in my Mojave, I'm definitely in agreement with the observation previously made that the Mojave can do 90% of what a Rubicon can while the Rubicon can do about half what a Mojave can. I didn't come up with that myself but that if that gives the Rubicon owners some buyer's remorse...trade in values are through the roof, so trade up to a Mojave, we won't hold it against you...

If it helps I’ve had mine up to about 80-85 on better dirt roads. If you are talking taking jumps I’d say no way. So far the Mojave feels very solid and rattle free. I have added engine and trans skid plates, but that honestly is more for winter when I can’t see the ground. On my last Q7 I smacked the bottom on a few large rocks and did a couple thousand damage. Audi skid plates are made of fiber and disintergrate if you run them through deep snow.
I've jumped my sport at 70mph with only the Mopar lift. That trashed my rear bump stops but all else was fine. You can definitely jump the Mojave with no issue. I've since built my JT up with 4in lift, Fox 2.5DSC, Fox bump stops on all 4 corners and a few other things and this thing flys now.

Just wish you could get the diesel in the Mojave.......only reason I'm going with a Rubicon.

Besides going fast on dirt roads, can you tell me what you think of its off road ability? I plan on taking my Mojave to things that wouldnt require actual rock crawling but more like forest fire service roads, desert roads like you might find in Joshua tree or Mojave national park. But some desert trails can get pretty crazy with rocks and washouts. Im kinda wondering if i picked the wrong Gladiator and should of got the Rubicon. Mine will probably be seeing plenty of highway driving, in town, and not so crazy off road... so i went Mojave.
You'll be fine.

As a general rule, if you just show up and go flat out you will crash or break something.

Walk/learn the course and work up to going fast.

I was in the EXACT same boat, but the additional weight of the diesel engine, which I believe has been stated is 350 pounds more than the gasser, (please correct me if I'm mistaken), in addition to the increasingly prolific issues the diesel has been having in the Gladiator platform made it a no-brainer for me at least.

That's not to mention the frame and suspension improvements the Mojave has over the Rubicon, at the "cost" of no front sway bar disconnect (which is easily remedied by the Apex Designs that I plan on getting) and front locker (which can likewise be remedied if you feel it's REALLY necessary). Having come from a JKUR I miss absolutely NOTHING about the Rubicon platform, whatsoever. That being said (cue broken record) I live in the desert and drive mine exactly as it was intended; and after recently visiting N/AZ where my previous Rubicon should have been more handy than a Mojave, I can reiterate that I miss absolutely nothing about my Rubicon and love my Mojave!

Meh...I felt the same way until I started doing my research. Towing capacity is dog shite and its range is likewise. That may or may not be an issue depending on where you live and whether or not you tow, and the Mojave has a lower tow capacity than other gas models to begin with. My dealer had a Wrangler 4xE that was literally traded in after a few weeks because the owner was furious at it's lack of range...which arguably could have been avoided with some basic research.

21 miles all electric driving range, 49 MPGe and 370 miles total driving range. It's a gimmick at best for urban mall crawlers and isn't worth (in my opinion for my particular situation) the significant aggravation and cost not to mention that mining cobalt and lithium, etc. and generating the power necessary to be able to charge them (unless you're on 100% off-grid solar power) hardly makes them the environmental savior the so-called environmentalists try to make them out to be. Those batteries also have a finite life cycle and can only take so many charges and discharges before they're no longer viable and their disposal is a hazardous waste nightmare. The diesel refining process (which is less so than that of gasoline) and running a diesel would actually be a more environmentally conscious decision, not to mention the use of literal slave labor to mine lithium, cobalt, etc. in third world countries. Diesel/biodiesel is a FAR better fuel alternative for those most concerned with Mother/Planet Earth. I'm not the least bit "woke" nor an environmentalist by any stretch of the imagination, I just possess critical thinking and analysis skills and apply them to actual facts. I'm NOT saying that you don't...I'm just say'n!
