For those who want a good look at getting a Gladiator around a tight switchback on Black Bear Pass, here you go.

That’s a good look! Looking forward to getting back up there next year 👍

Didn’t get a chance to do black bear or Imogene this last trip but the fall colors are amazing right now.

Great footage. We have a similar switchback here in town on Balanced Rock Trail.

Man. Now you make me want to get a group and do Black Bear.
Heard there was a snow storm this weekend though.

Sounds like the season may be over for the year. We'll be back next year.

The year has likely wrapped up. Won’t be open till end of may/ June of next year. At least for the majority of the alpine loop.

I agree. The season up there is probably over. I can still wheel closer to home. Mini Moab, China Wall, even Schubarth etc. But next year.... I need to do the Alpine Loop and Black Bear.

Here is the tightest switchback. I accidentally left the plastic cover over the drone camera. And still learning how to properly fly it.

I think the alpine loop is by far my favorite place to wheel. Between the elevation and alpine setting the trails are fun across the board and I don’t know of anywhere with better views.

The long wheelbase certainly doesn’t do us any favors on Black Bear 😂

I’d imagine the Broncos turn assist would be bad for the trail In this situation. Wonder what good it’s for then?

I’d love to do this for the view. But those turns and all the roll off stories just have me :lipssealed:

appreciate you sharing. The first one gave me some confidence. The second one took that away

I keep waiting to see someone try the turn assist on Black Bear. First thing that popped into my mind when I heard about it.

The switchback in second one is the worst. There are times just as scary running along the edge when not turning though. But if you take your time and have some experience it's not that bad of a trail. Level 3 with level 10 consequences!

Tight but doable. You do shoot some great videos. Saw your Holy Cross one too!
