I really lucked out finding my 1/2 doors. But I had to get mine painted. They were white and brand new in the box.

Good luck with sale, just know that if you go ebay, on a 6300 sale you end up with around 5200 bucks after paypal and ebay fees. People forget that ebay takes 12.55 of the final value, and paypal nails you for over 3% as well.They have sold for 6300 used, mine are new in the box with not a single scratch. Considering that they only come factory painted on factory custom order and when/if mopar makes this into a kit , they will a lot more expensive and come unpainted, that’s how I came about my price. Again that’s my asking price, I am a little flexible

Those didn't sell for 6305.They have sold for 6300 used, mine are new in the box with not a single scratch. OP did you order your JT with the dual door group planning to sell the half doors? If so I applaud your ingenuity and willingness to take a risk, even if it leaves a bitter taste that this much profit is left 'sitting on the sidewalk' because Jeep just won't offer a zero-cost half-doors-only option like they did on the JK.
As best I can tell they think it's too complex operationally to have a second door option on the line and so the half doors are painted separately and then added just after primary manufacturing is over, the same way they add their bed liners and tri-fold bed covers. But on the JK in the same factory they were able to make it work in their system to just swap out the single set of doors, so I'm holding out a little hope that in MY23 or something they'll make the switch. In any case these doors will likely be long gone by the time that happens and secondary market prices fall.

What would his ideal trading partner want a second set of full doors for?
I may be over-estimating even good aftermarket paint shops, but if the OEM doors aren't painted on the Jeep I'm not sure it's as certain that they'll perfectly match even if painted in the OEM facility.

Correct , there are instances where the r color matched might not be 100% . I was talking more on the quality of paint job in terms of loose debris/particles and quality of paint/clear coat used.What would his ideal trading partner want a second set of full doors for?

Ill be honest...hope he get his price but ive seen these half doors pop up below $4k a few times. Ive seen $2500 twice. 7k=crack pipe. Buy em new at that price from mopar.

I did thanks, but I think it’s crazier to sell them for 2.5k than for 7k. Only way to get these oem painted is with a factory order. I’m waiting to see anyone here or anywhere show me the price on a mopar kit. I can guarantee it will be atleast 6k in parts plus non oem paint job.

Its actually about5k to 6k new and painted...just order the wrangler doors. If someones jeep is more than a year old..they may not want factory paint or it might not match..better to have them painted in my opinion. If i ever score a set ill likely paint them black with a jeep star the color of the main body. i like the contrast look
