I’m in the sand 3-4 times a month. The sand on the 3rd coast here tends to be on the firm side however there are spots that are very soft and up to 12” deep. That being said, I’ve had no problems with popping beads however, don’t want to deal with it ever happening. I usually run 15lbs and it seems to work great but I’m not brave enough to go lower without beadlocks.
Now to the point, would it be advisable to get single, or double beadlocks? And if not so much, is there a wheel choice without beadlocks but with a rock ring?

Method has some “bead grip” wheels that you might want to look into, if you don’t really need beadlocks but want extra bead retention.
Thanks. Really kinda want rock rings for rash protection

I have run Hutchinson's on my 07 JKU for quite a few years with no issues except for the weight.

Anyone know if you can run the Mopar beadlocks with rock ring and not use beadlocks? Just curious

Is there a rim with a rock ring and not a beadlock?

I like the iKon rebound pro. Yeah I know no rash guard. But lighter weight and DOT approved.

The Hutchinson wheels appear to come with the inner sleeve to lock the inside bead in place, do other brand of headlocks come with the sleeve? I would think without it and just the outside bead locked the inside would be prone to losing the bead just like a regular rim.

It's my understanding that inside beads don't usually blow because they don't tend to have outside forces such as rocks, trees, etc pushing against them like the outside bead does. There's people doing crazy things, probably much crazier than someone would do in a JT, on "regular" beadlocks that lock just the outside bead and don't have issues.
