i am adding an aftermarket front bumper, I currently have the led factory fogs, can I Hook my aftermarket lights to the existing led plugs? ideally I wouldn’t have to cut any thing off the stock bumper, can I order that plug to wire into my new lights????

I imagine that depends on the manufacturer. I bought some Diode Dynamics amber fog lights and they plugged right in. Although they were second hand.

Yes. There might have been a wiring harness that came with them. Again I purchased the second hand off another forum member. So he might have had to buy that portion. But they work flawlessly. No flashing or blinking. Plug and play. I had factory halogens in there and went to LED ambers. Love them.

As long as the AM lights have PSX24W connectors, give'er.

The DD fogs come with adaptor pig tails so they are plug and play, but you have to order the module specific kit

the kit also includes adaptor brackets to suit the specific factory bumper, consider this when you order your aftermarket bumper as some manufacturers like Warn also provide mounting options to mate to the factory configuration

I have never seen aftermarket lights with any plugs, just wires usually
Our fogs have 9005/9145 connectors and we include an adapter plug to convert to PSX24W

Diode Dynamics supplies the adapter plugs. Their lights utilize Deutsch connectors, which are probably the most rugged connector in the industry. If hour gonna be seeing alot of moisture may be prudent to skip the adapter. With that said I am using the adapter. The sport and pros seem to work well with the factory wiring. The power requirements for the latest round of super lights have had reports of turning off during stop starts and other transitions. My guess is these more powerfull lights will require a harness kit that pulls main power from the battery and uses the stock plug in as a turn on signal.
