And to think. We just broke the 50 year record for snowfall in December at 193.7" and more on its way. I80 going to California has been closed for 4 days.

Damn. How do all the trucks get from Sacto to Reno? That’s gonna mess up the supply chain even more.

They don't. Actually all highways were closed 50, 88, 89, 395, and 80. 100mph winds on Donner summit. Ski resorts closed. Think they are trying to get it open today or it may be open this morning.

Several members of my family live in Grass Valley area. I say area because they don't live in town, but rather on large agricultural areas or open land bought years ago. Snow up to their asses. Hwy 49 is impassable from Auburn to GV. They haven't seen this much for many years. My brother asked if I would come up and pull his Ford F-150 out of a ditch.

My brother lives in forest hill and was snowed in. It’s crazy How much snow we are getting. Did you run into any closed roads? Or do they have it all open now?

My wife and I are in escrow for a condo in Truckee. Can’t wait to go play in the snow up there.

We live in NW Reno. A couple of miles from the CA border, and aprx 25 min to Truckee. All the traffic has been stopped and turned around near our exit. It's like Armageddon with semi's parked on any side street they can find. Cars stuck in ditches trying to turn around on the highway etc. I'm just happy to work from home and go wheeling in the foothills around my house. There's so much mud under the snow. I'm usually wheeling alone, so do not venture too far.

Well up there they only plow the main rode and some side streets and hwy 80 was closed about 30 miles east of the Forrest hill exit
