Battery Dead, Fuse Box Clicking

Hey Jeep guys and gals! My battery died And my fusebox is clicking, I took one fuse out that was not blown and it changed the clicking to a slower clicking, My Park, Drive Reverse and Neutral lights flash on and off, My Speedometer will try click up, And some other dash lights will flicker? Has anybody had this problem before? Or does anybody know what the problem is?

After reading some of these threads for a while, I’m gonna take a wild guess and say that you have a harness issue near the batteries. Good luck.

Doubt you have a harness issue, that is just ridiculous to jump to that.

Check both batteries to see what they are at. The NORMAL issue that threads state is the aux battery is low voltage. NOT a harness issue.

What you are experiencing is normal dead battery issues..

Doubt you have a harness issue, that is just ridiculous to jump to that.

Check both batteries to see what they are at. The NORMAL issue that threads state is the aux battery is low voltage. NOT a harness issue.

What you are experiencing is normal dead battery issues..
Agreed - need to check BOTH batteries. Separate them at the negative cable, too, to isolate them from each other and the truck. Check each independently.
Usually the aux battery goes first and ends up draining the main battery - at least in MY experience. But with the bad batteries Jeep has had (not just Gladiator - that I know for sure) it could be the main one is bad first.

No one can possibly diagnose and tell you what clicking relays means. That's just not possible Too many variations of equipment, which battery died and why and other factors.
This is one of those -check both batteries, charge each, see if they HOLD a charge and go from there thing - and call your dealer.
I'm not sure why folks don't contact a dealer??

These are AGM batteries - you can try your old-school charger but they are best charged with one with an AGM setting. Charge each one over night.
Check voltage - should be over 12.6 due to a surface charge. You can use a light of some sort to drain the surface charge - or wait.
A fully charged battery will be in the area of 12.6 volts (modern batteries may settle at 12.8 from what I've seen)
If after charging for several hours (all night) you don't have 12.6 - you have a bad battery. Don't pass go, don't collect 200, go right to dealer (or otherwise replace battery yourself)
Do same for both if you find both are below 12.6 volts.
Even 12.2 or 12.4 is a very low battery so don't assume hey, it's got 12 volts, it's fine - it's not.
The clicking isn't going to tell you what's wrong. it's likely just because something is trying to stay engaged but lacks the voltage to keep it engaged (meaning relay won't stay engaged due to low voltage) it's not a sign of anything other than low battery in MOST cases.

At the dealership now myself...had the autostart/stop light come on a few days ago and last night was dead. Trickle charger overnight shows battery damaged, so here I am for a warranty battery...

Literally answered my questions all in one post. Charging the main battery now over night on AGM setting then will check how it holds a charge (assuming it hits 12.6V at all). It was actually at 11.01V naked and out of the truck (not 8.8V like what my dash said when connected).

Welp, the battery charger said it was done charging just after 2.5 hours on AGM setting. The charger screen said 12.6V and so did my multimeter.

Here comes the fun part….after unplugging the charger from the wall, the voltage immediately started to drop. It went to 12.0V after 15 seconds and as I type, it’s been 3 minutes so the battery is now reading 11.6V. That’s about 0.6V above what it originally was when I pulled it off the truck earlier.

Did I not charge it long enough despite the charger saying it was done? Or is the battery cooked?
