What is the recommended wiring harness to flat tow my gladiator? I bought a wiring harness off of etrailer, but the lights on the Jeep will not respond.

I installed the Maximus 3 loop and Curt 58946 plug n play connector. Things all went together great and easily.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I think I will go with the Cool Tech version.

The Maximus-3 tow loops work great, and are pretty inconspicuous.
As for wiring, I considered the CoolTech solution, but didn’t want to hack up my wiring harness, and running wires out the drain holes was a definite NO. I ended up using a wireless lighting system.

I used the factory Mopar flat tow harness for a JL and extended the wires under the Gladiator to make everything reach. I liked it because it’s fully automatic and works with factory led lights. It was a bit involved to install as you have to run a harness that tees into both factory rear lights and the license plate lights but they are all factory plugs. Took me 6hrs to install, including splicing extension wires, taking my time and I followed the factory harness exactly. Probably could have saved an hour just running it along the frame.

Hi All,
I'm interested in this too... anyone successfully using plug and play kit with stock LEDs and tow package? Prefer not to cut up the harness.

Thanks,
Adam

I'm in the process of using the Mopar harness but also having to splice in an additional 12" or so to reach from the rear tail lights to the engine bay. I'm recording the whole thing so I can post the link here after it's done if anyone is interested.
