@kilroy173 @Chaosseat - Where did y'all end up ordering yours? I think I'll be pulling the trigger but want to call in advance to confirm stock. Thanks in advance!

Yes, same deal.@kilroy173 @Chaosseat - Where did y'all end up ordering yours? I think I'll be pulling the trigger but want to call in advance to confirm stock. Thanks in advance!
I actually got a used one directly from AFE. I live close by to their offices and they were selling a used one on offer up that they had previously used for testing. It's practically brand new except it still has the old rubber hood seal that people have been complaining about, which I didn't plan on using anyways. I plan on installing it tomorrow.@kilroy173 @Chaosseat - Where did y'all end up ordering yours? I think I'll be pulling the trigger but want to call in advance to confirm stock. Thanks in advance!
I ordered one almost 6 weeks ago. As of early this week, they're still telling me "10 to 12 weeks" before shipment. When I say "they're", I'm talking about the AFE representatives themselves. They claim that their suppliers can't get them the parts they need to build the kits.
So, who knows if I'll ever actually get to review it. But if they send me what I ordered which is the AFE Momentum HD CAI with DryFlow filter, I'll post up a review on my YouTube channel.
For what it's worth, they've got a dyno sheet showing 39 lb/ft of torque gained at the rear wheels with the CAI which, if true, is pretty amazing. I'm already running the MBRP cat-back exhaust, so this AFE intake combined with the Banks tuner would make this truck a beast. Well over 500 lb/ft of torque in a 5,200 lb. truck.. whoa!
I won't know for sure until I install it but unlike the factory intake, there is no air inlet from the bottom just the top of the airbox.I really like the idea of this intake as well. I am a little worried about water though. Do you think it's as secure as the stock intake? In terms of keeping water out?

Had it on backorder from AFE since September last year.@kilroy173 @Chaosseat - Where did y'all end up ordering yours? I think I'll be pulling the trigger but want to call in advance to confirm stock. Thanks in advance!
I ordered the ProGuard 7 option with the Yellow filter, that has the dyno chart pictured on their site. The sound is defiantly more noticeable on the inside.Yes, same deal.
I see there are two types. The big HD one and a regular one with an exposed filter element.
The big HD one has a noted power gain while the other one doesn't. I don't really care about the power that much just want to hisssss if possible
Driving video would be awesomeHere's a few seconds idling with the hood closed, it sounds the same to me. I only notice the noise difference while driving...
