Eh, not true for all. I've had good luck with the Wildpeak M/T in Michigan. I've learned to stay within the capabilities on icy or snowy road. I haven't found them to float, unless they meant hydroplane.We just had a bunch of ice and snow here in Ct. went through it like nothing all in 2 wheel high. I have Firestone XT tires there pretty good. 3 peak snow rated 10ply E there rugged. I was going to get MTs but they told me you would float all over the road in snow, ice and even rain. Mus tires are for mud I guess lol.
