I just moved here last August and I had heard they were bad but when I got here i didn't really notice any major issues. Then it seems like after we got that big snow this year the roads just look like land mines went off every 20 feet.
Yeah it's the yearly winter cycle. The plows rip the asphalt up in huge chunks. Then spring gets here and they patch them up. I ride motorcycles so I'm always paying close attention to where the big ones are. Super dangerous on a bike. Not to mention the cracked windshields caused by all the road debris left from the potholes.

I feel you I ride as well but haven't here idk how anyone could. I really wish they just wouldn't plow or salt the roads. Feel like it would cause less damage and accidents anyways to all the people getting blow outs. There was a massive one over a bridge on the 155 I saw about 5 or 6 cars pulled over that blew out tires or suspension

With all the reports of the ecodiesels regularly bottoming out in the front, I would fix that ASAP.

I stand corrected then. Was not aware this was happening to the diesels.
Yeah I’d be popping over back to dealer to get this replaced under warranty pronto. Let them repair on their dime first.
Then I’d move on to your custom items.
Hope you diesels fellas get answers from Jeep soon.
Good luck.

I wish I could just show to the dealer and get it done but I don't have another car and they don't have any damn loaners and it screws me with work.

You could always just buy another stock jounce bumper and install it, until you have time to install your lift. The JT jounce bumpers appear to be the same material as my JK, and I had one on my JK fail prematurely (but I wheel the heck out of it).

If I'm gunna get in there and replace it I'll just put in the metal cloak duro springs I have that replace them rather then get a new stock one.

Good luck. I drive them roads every day and try to make a mental note of where they are. New ones seem to creep up every day. Tennessee used to have some of the best roads in the country, not any more.
So much for gas taxes going towards roads ?
