Wow. Looks just like a NATO building in Germany along with those trees. Although, there wasn’t to many Camaros in Germany. That should have been a clue. My squad leader had a yellow 78 Camaro LT in Germany, though. The only one I ever saw over there in the 80’s.
Camaro!?! You're obviously not a GM guy. :)

It was a slug of a Firebird the 307 and 3 speed auto was anemic. But the other half loved that thing

Its interesting how different the Gladiator and the Wrangler look with a given sized tire. Especially the 2 door.

A Wrangler with stock Rubicon wheels/tires looks great. 35s look BIG.

Jeep Gladiator My personal opinion, its not sexy! 1646166779897

The Gladiator looks terrible with anything other than Rubicon/Mojave sized tires. Everything else it looks like a roller skate.

Even the Mojave/Rubicon could use a little help. Although i do think the stock Rubicon/Mojave looks better in person than in photos. In the general scheme of things, 33s are pretty big. Its not until yoiu park it next to something with 35s or 37s that they look small.

The itty bitty 245s look small all on their own.

I came here on the pretense that there were pictures of hot women.
Leaving now.

See you at the pub.
How about pics of the 71 Super Beettle

Again everyone is missing the point. Even Jeep thinks a Striped Base Model it’s not that great looking or they wouldn’t offer 9 other improved with better visual cues / optioned models.

All of which look good from the factory. With each one slightly improved coming from the factory.
There's just something about the 245 wheels that makes the whole proportions of the truck look off, almost incomplete. And the rake doesn't help. With just a few tweaks Jeep could make the Base look sharp IMHO...
  • Level the truck - why is Toyota one of the few to figure this out from the factory? Thankfully Teraflex fixes that.
  • Something to finish the lower body seam. No other car has something that unfinished. Take off rock rails is an easy fix.
  • A 33/33ish tire. The Rubi take offs are good option.
Then you get a presentable truck even keeping everything else plain jane (which is what we've been calling my Base Sport).

We are now up to a total of 5 Jeeps in our family! But I’m not going to lie a no option stock JT is not very sexy. It’s kinda ugly.

Not trying to offend anyone. The tiny 245’s on steelie wheels, no sliders and funky basic front bumper drives me crazy. On another note it drives great down the road.

Beauty is within the eyes of the beholder.... I agree a stock JT needs some build.... However, in my unqualified (or qualified) opinion, a raise is not necessary to improve the looks of the vehicle. After all.... it's a Jeep. Ours is stock height, 35's and an ARE shell equipped for over landing our So Cal Deserts... And it looks great. P.S. none of these photos depict the new tires.

Pretty thick skin here. This is our over lander today...... The GMRS Radio and the Sat Phone are the latest additions (in case the Russians attack us, at least that's what I told the wife). Photos are not the best and the radio pic lacks perspective as it is not a low as it looks and does not intrude in the cabin space.

Agreed, my lift is to accomplish a better experience in Moab UT for break over angle. We are somewhere between Overlanding and Rock Crawling. The base is going to get 33's and different fenders and bumpers plus the Mojave suspension.

Yup---no offense to the gender but the majority, including my wife, just care about the color and if it looks sexy.

We want all the power we can get. Only advantage to the small engine and anemic transmission was the gas mileage compared the big block 400, 4 speed '73 Grand Am I was tooling around in.

I was going to ask the OP to add a comma or break it into 2 sentences.

My personal opinion, its not sexy. . . .

Or is his opinion not sexy?

Either way, I think the ambiguity caused by the missing comma has helped with its views.
