We’re attending the Jeep Adventure Academy next month in Attica at the Badlands. Really looking forward to it. Anyone else going? Anything I need? What should I expect as far as difficulty?

My wife and I will be driving our High Altitude Diesel.

My wife and I are going. No idea what to expect. Never been to an off road park before. Videos I've seen show everyone with a safety flag. Anyone know if they're provided, or is it something I need to pick up beforehand? No mention of it on the Adventure Academy web page.

I called the Badlands park and asked. They said we’d need one, hence why I mounted one to the hitch skid plate. They said they had them available at their shop. We’ll be there on the 20th (Friday). Look for ”Krystal” pictured above. My lovely wife and myself will be trading off driving.

Saturday for us. Still trying to talk the wife into doing some driving, but it'll be a game time decision.

I’ll be there with my son on Saturday. Don’t remember reading anything about the flags when I signed up.

Been to the BADLANDS a couple times and stayed at the camp ground. Yes you will need a flag .When we were there ,they were having a ACADEMY CLASS we kinda snuck into the line and the spotters also spotted us on a couple of the obstacles .Enjoy stay out of the mud holes some are deeper then you think.

The Safety Flag is a park rule.

Watch out for ATV's, dirt bikes, and SxS's. Their trails cross the truck/Jeep trails and they don't care if they're in your way.

In the AM before starting out. We were 2nd in line just past the black Rubi JLU.

My wife and I had a great day and truly enjoyed everyone and everything. I was pretty nervous around those big-ass rocks but the guides knew what they were doing. Extremely glad I got the ebay hitch slider! It kept my hitch and bumper from getting roughed up. The Rubicon wheels and KO2’s were awesome but there were a couple Sahara JLU’s running the 20” High Altitude wheels with Bridgestone HL tires With us. They went everywhere we did.

I HIGHLY recommend this to any new Jeep owner. My wife and I had a blast and learned a lot. Also, a good sized percentage of couples traded driving at lunch. I took the morning and my wife drove in the afternoon. She absolutely loved it and didn’t think she would.

One last thing, Sahm’s Smokehouse in Attica has some pretty good barbecue and beer! If you are doing the Adventure on Saturday, check it out afterwards!

PS, the Sunrider is awesome!
