I fold up real pillows....real flannel sheets and a down comforter in my RTT.
Never go back to ground camping ever again.

That is some nice comfort. No way I can fit all that on my kayak (LOL). Everything has to pack up micro small and compact

I have those exact D-Series, bombproof Rigid! Great catch!
my plan is to put those driving light on the a piller and my little 10in rigid combo beam on the bumper. in your opinion will i have good side visibility with the driving beam and a set of rock light in the wheel wells or should i also add a set of flood pattern lights on the a piller also? thanks

I think those D-series pods are bright enough for side-front lighting if you angle them slightly to the sides, not straight ahead. Works for me. You shouldn't need extra rock lights by wheel wells.

Yeah...this is a bit bigger. I do not think the cots would it on a kayak either.

Actually I can take a cot on my kayak if I plan and pack correctly and watch weight load. As I have gotten older at 60 sleeping on that ground isn't any fun anymore. So I take my comfort where I can get it.

I hope you have better luck with yours than I did. I just recently bought one of these and returned it.
  • Out of the box, both shades and the grab bar pouch were all covered in this oily, slimy residue. I rinsed them all off with soap and hot water, but it didn't fix it completely.
  • The install wasn't bad, but the fitment was just awful. The rear shade has to be pulled so far back that it almost interferes with your rear window. If you leave it any further forward, the front edge of it bunches up on the soundbar. It's like they didn't bother to measure or cut it to the shape of the Jeep at all.
  • The front shade fit ok, but I'm JUST tall enough that it constantly brushes my head while I'm driving. That's my issue though, nothing with the product.
  • The worst part though was that after all the bungies were pulled taut around all the trim, I got several annoying plastic rattles/vibrations while driving, and especially with bass from music.
They look cool, but I am hoping I'll have better luck with Alien or Spiderweb in the future.

Bought one last year during prime day.

I must have been lucky as I had none of the issues you had.

I love mine. Take the tops off much more without the sin beating down directly on you.
