We started our trip in Texas at Palo Duro. This is what 9 mpg looks like on the interstate in Texas

The trailer looks like a perfect fit for your Gladiator. What gears are you running? 9 mpg sounds about right. This last tank I averaged 13.4 in town driving with no load. Beautiful pictures/countryside. Thanks for sharing. Safe travels!

Just the stock 4:10 gears with 35s. Not ideal for towing. But it made the slow 5500 miles though. The camper and everything I figured was between 4500 and 5000lbs

The winds in west Texas are brutal on MPG. I get better mileage in the mountains that I do in W. Texas. There is always strong cross winds.

Great pictures. I think we saw a few of the same sites you visited. Love to see those that we missed. Stay safe and have fun.
