I have a 2021 Willys Gladiator with the lower painted fenders. The rear tail lights are LED but the DRL and turn signals are halogen lights. I recently acquired some highline Rubicon painted fenders and want to switch them out for extra clearance. The lighting on the Rubicon fenders is LED. Am I correct in thinking that this should not be an issue and that the wiring will be compatible and all I need to do is adjust the settings in JSCAN for LED DRL and turn signals? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Sounds like you’re on the right track with all that. Worse goes to worst all its going to do is tell you you have turn signals out on the dash because the amperage isn’t enough to be read. It’s annoying but just a quick click of “ok” at startup. Does it to me all the time with button turns on the front fenders.

You should be good. I put Rubicon fenders with factory LED lights on my 21 80th anniversary model. My original turn signals/running lights were not LED. Changed the front turn and running lights to LED using a Tazer programmer and all has been good for the past 5.5 years. I broke a few of the fender clip’s taking off the fenders. With this in mind it is a good idea to have extra clips available before you start the job.

Correct, you confirmed your own suspicion, and answered your own question.

Keep up the good work and post before after pics!

I see you're a fellow Canadian....where did you get your fenders? I have been on the hunt for some as well.

Just lucked out and found some almost new takeoffs on Marketplace for a good price. Unfortunately they are painted black so I had to take them to a shop to paint hydro blue.

I swapped my Sport S Fenders with single halogen lights with Rubi fenders with LED lights and even that was plug and play. I don't think I even had to change the settings in my tazer.
