From Taco to JTR and 40s!

Figured this time around I'll start a build thread right out the bat and not have to backtrack. Picked up my string gray JTR after selling my 2017 toyota tacoma that I was running out of mods to do. Plan is to eventually make it to one tons and 40s to hit the harder trails but still take it on a camping trip. Most likely going to be going to Montana to buy a gofastcamper and be set from there! Long way to go and a lot of research on how solid axle suspension works and all the parts but we'll get there.

And here's my old tacoma rigged out! 35s was the limits so had to upgrade right?

Wow, I'm seeing $3,800 maybe it was on sale? Does anyone know if those are compatible with the trail rail system? I wasn't a fan of these but that looks real nice.

could be looking at the model with the glass sides and maybe more options. I just took that price of their website

I have the RLD and its around $3800. You have to use the Trail Rails for installation.

Hi my name is Nick and I have a modification problem. Almost all of the lift is in and then waiting on the tires!

got an icon front bumper (didn't realise the stock foglights don't fit so I'm going to buy some @Diode Dynamics fogs that I've always run in my tacoma and focus st) and my falcon shocks came in, last piece of the puzzle is these damn tires!

Just installed the @Diode Dynamics SS3 MAXX foglights! Even in the day I can tell the difference on these new ones vs the pros I had on my tacoma, can't wait to see in the night. With the icon vehicle dynamics impact bumper mounting it comes with is an incredibly tight fit, I'd like to have them mounted a tad bit more forward but it would need to be mounted on the bottom not the top. I'll probably rotate the motor for the sway bar disconnect and get rid of that skid plate it comes with and drill a hole to mount the foglight mount from the bottom to make room to push it more forward. ALSO NOTE it's a pain to put in with the bumper on if you got that sway bar disconnect.

The last piece to the puzzle has finally arrived! (unless someone buys them and I grab 40s real quick lol) Dropped the bead rings off for powder coating and then everything finally goes together
