So I finally piecemeal assembled my steering setup. Its not fancy but after ordering all the parts and doing the install; I regret it. I had to order parts twice due to our larger steering setup and the wrong part number. That is my fault. However, I feel the benefit gained here was so little...
I have used this setup on several Jeeps over the years. You can buy the straps from Home Depot for 10 dollars and the hardware for even less. In no time you can lift your top off without the need for help or expensive tools. Parts and Price Husky strap link for $8.97...
In this video, I plug in a boat load of stuff to test out the inverter in the truck. I explain how power inverters work and how they convert electricity. Just like engineering explained does, I love to teach the basics. This was a fun video.
Part numbers off the truck.

I was looking for the Rubicon blinkers but didnt want to do all the work for the fenders and still have the function of a slick turn signal for our trucks. Not bad for 40~ dollars and 10 minutes of time.
I wasn't happy with the products available for the Jeep in the switch department. I wanted switches within finger reach of the 4wd lever, in reach of the shifter, and still look OEM. I found my solution.

I was wondeirng how dialed in my steering was today. Centered the axle with a Rock Krawler track bar (panhard bar), installed the Mopar Lift last month, ran my 35's at 32 psi, running 5.22 backspacing (tracking over 1 inch wider overall) and removed my steering stabilizer (replacing it this week...
I bought these Husky Dring Shackles for my Jeep Gladiator, they will work for anything but I found they are coated well, inexpensive, readily available. If they get lost or stolen, I am not going to be too heart broken.
Here is my install video of the HD winch bumper from Rugged Ridge. I absolutely love this thing. I shopped for a long time and had to compromise in my choice but so glad I did! I would have made this my first choice.
Summit Racing had a no questions shipping policy and we got it in Guam within...
Here is my latest video. I think its quite easy, the bumper is 35 lbs. There is tons of room in there for a winch and I have a new Rugged Ridge HD install coming tomorrow. Thanks for stopping by and checking out my videos.

I made a video, for fun, that covers some things I discovered on our trucks. Coming from 3 Wranglers and 2 of them being rubicons, I feel Jeep overengineered the truck. What things have you found?
I pull my door retaining hardware on all my jeeps and throw a set of these "thread protectors" to protect the hinge, during install and removal of the doors, and to alleviate rust when installing and removing the doors. They are in the hardware section in the little drawers of home stores. They...
$ 10 Quick disconnects.
8 stainless washers
2 7/16 hitch and clevis pins
Heat shrink the pin for quiet operation. Ran these on my TJ for years. Worked great.
I chose the Tazer Lite model due to its price obviously. The only thing I wanted more was the seat belt chime and the halo led light controller. Both of which require the Tazer Mini, which has all the features but to me makes it menu heavy and more than I will ever need.
I bought mine from...
The sunbonnet Vinyl or Mesh top is easy to install. You will need assorted torx bits or drivers. I used a hammer drill and it made light work of the bolts in the windshield. The others are the smaller torx for the roll bar and the snaps that will go in their place.
The kit from the dealer...
