  1. Rock Lights tied to bed lights and reverse

Just make sure whatever lights you use they are waterproof. I wanted cheap, waterproof/potted (circuit board and back filled with epoxy) and nothing too bright. You can look around on amazon, I found the lights I chose being used for backup lights. You can look on amazon for just about any...
  2. AC Vent Air Speed Differs with MPH and Recirculate

That is exactly my issue. Looks like I'm taking mine in too then. Thanks
  3. Your steering is not loose. Rant warning.

Perhaps your'e not setting your sector shaft air pressure correctly? I had mine done with NitrogenTM. and now it drives like a champ! I've heard that if you fill it with helium it will lighten up the steering, but I have not had the opportunity to try it yet... All kidding aside, it is 100%...
  4. AC Vent Air Speed Differs with MPH and Recirculate

Does anyone else notice that the air speed coming out of the vents changes with the speed you drive? If I have it on 1 and speed up to 70 getting onto the highway it will feel like the blower is on max even though it still is on 1. If I hit the recirculate button it then lowers back to 1. I...
  5. Oil Catch Can - is it needed?

If you have direct injection a catch can will help. Direct injection sprays fuel into the cylinder and any oil that may blow by can build up on the top of the valves. If you don't have direct injection (port injection like our 3.6L gladiators or both port and direct) it will mix with the air...
  6. Rock Lights tied to bed lights and reverse

Unfortunately I do not. I will attach a couple pictures that may help a bit. You want to test the circuit before you hard wire it. I just took one of the lights and twisted it to one side of the diode and twisted another piece of wire to the other side and touched the positive side of the...
  7. Your steering is not loose. Rant warning.

No one is attempting to fix it? Go read JL wrangler forum. They have the same problems, the final fix is to adjust the lash yourself and void the warranty on the box, redneck ram or psc. FCA has replaced the stabilizer, trackbar and made 5 revisions to the steering box and have stated there is...
  8. Hothead Headliner adhesive issues?

My rears fell down but are caught on the inner trim so I haven't fixed it yet. They still work great. Fronts and sides are good though.
  9. Those complaining about the steering... get the Fox Steering Stabilizer

Thats the problem, they are not fixing it. So far they have done a recall on track bar bracket welds, track bars, steering stabilizers, reflashed the power steering pump, and many revisions of the steering box on the front end of the JL/JT. They have a steering box that you can not adjust the...
  10. Kenitic energy rope retrieval.

It's possible that it does not completely disengage traction control until you are in 4lo. I have not gotten to go out and play with mine yet since I have been working out my warranty issues.
  11. Smacked a curb need advise

I think you were given information and help. He told you to do more than just throw parts at it. You could have bent or damaged your axle tube, steering knuckles, axle Cs, LCA mounts, UCA mounts, trackbar mounts, steering box, drag link, tie rod, trackbar, or even internal components. The...
  12. Loose Steering?

Perhaps it's a quality control issue? Perhaps your dealer has a vested interest? My dealer said they have had a lot of JLs come in with steering issues. Hell, they are on the 5th revision of the steering box, with a new track bar bushing and new steering stabilizer. They have death-wobble on...
  13. Pixie Decals flag decals

He is a single man shop who makes these when he isn't working his full time job. It took a month for mine to ship but I am very pleased with his work. Shoot him and email, he was very prompt with responses.
  14. Loose Steering?

Yes, that appears to be the primary issue causing the loose steering. The problem is if its good in hot weather it sticks in the cold and if its loose in the hot its good in the cold. Cant win for loosing it seems. I know aluminum has a thermal expansion that is 2x of steel and iron. Perhaps...
  15. Gladiators on Mopar 2" Lift Kit

You'll love the wheels, I love mine. The back spacing is just aggressive enough without looking like a bro dozer. You will need to get smaller diameter lug nuts though. I am not sure what the size was, my tire shop got them from their distributer for 2 bucks a piece.
  16. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

If you get the wheels get them from northridge4x4 and use the coupon code JLWRANGLERFORUM. Its the best price I have every seen on those wheels.
  17. Traction control effects loose steering issue

I noticed a difference in the effort it takes to turn the wheel with t/c off. It seems to lower the amount of assist you receive, I did notice about a 1/2" difference in play before the tires turn. Perhaps we have different software versions?
  18. WeatherTech window deflectors: Fit Gladiator?

JL and JT are the same. JK doors are different, not sure if the vent is the same across all 3 but the JL and JT are identical.
  19. Recommended decal company?

pixel decals is great. Shipping takes a while but is well worth it. He makes the stickers during his free time and is quite busy. I asked for a custom color and he came through and far exceeded my expectations.
  20. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

I used a heat gun on low today to remove the factory stickers. I kept the gun a foot away and moved it quickly on one sticker at a time. The sticker was warm but the hood was still cold to the touch. I then replaced it with my new bronze rubicon stickers. I'm not a fan of all the red on the...
