My JTRD has recommendations on idle time after running it hard. Unfortunately the start stop system doesn't follow the Jeep recommendations on idling before shutting the engine off
I'll give this a bump.
I purchased a used Rubicon wheel a couple of months ago, took the spare out and swapped the rubber from the steel wheel to the Rubicon with a used TPMS installed. When I rotated the first time (5 tire rotation), the vehicle automatically sensed the TPMS change in less...
Each state has a different requirement for emergency lighting on POVs. I'm not sure what Indiana requires as far as coverage to the front only, or must be 360, etc.
As you know, something like 70% of the country is covered by volunteer departments. You are not the first person from Indiana...
If I install a Tazer, what features stop working in the vehicle? The security gateway module had to do something.
Do any of the u-connect capabilities stop functioning? Anything else?
So if one were to start with a Max Tow, put larger tires on it, and a Rubicon take-off suspension, or just put a lift on it, what does that do to the towing capacity?
The Rubicon also has the wider axles..., but not a higher tow rating.
So the primary driver that the Max Tow has that is not available on all the other Gladiator variants is the better disk brakes? If that is the case, it does make sense.
I've been trying to understand what a Max Tow package provides you over what you can get with just the standard trailer-tow package.
What is the real difference between Sport S? It seems like you have the heavier axles, similar to the heavy axles on the Rubicon, but is a trac-loc, not a...
I was thinking before the posts on this thread that with the folding front window and the Wrangler/Gladiator ACC is not mounted directly to the window like all the other vehicles with ACC, that changing out the windshield would not come with an increased cost due to having the ACC.
I love the ACC, and would get it again. I wish it had lane keeping like many Toyota's have.
@Deadeye has a different experience with his 2020 LE than I have with my 2021 JTRD. My Gladiator approaches the vehicle in front of me and slows down such that if I'm not paying attention to my speed...
It just occurred to me that one way to tell if they used the wrong nozzle is to compare both nozzles at the same pump. If the unleaded and diesel nozzle are the same size (diameter), they messed up.
I know this isn't a factor in your problem, but the monster diesel fillers that are used in the semi lanes at truck stops won't work to fill our trucks. They are almost the size of the fuel cap opening. They deliver fuel very fast and are intended for the large tanks on the sides of semi...
Most likely the nozzle that you were trying to use at the first station was the wrong size, probably the size used for unleaded. The diesel Gladiator filler is designed to prevent insertion of the unleaded nozzle for the obvious problems it creates.
I would suggest if you plan to fuel at the...
