I will add to this. I put these bags in Jeep June 2021. They did well with the rear bounce but the cold weather last winter split them. I was running 5 psi all winter as I wasn’t towing anything. I did get a new set of bags sent up on warranty but won’t install them as it’s getting late in...
How’s the availability of these 35/11.5/17 Toyo’s?
They’re stupid expensive at 1010 tire up here $650 and rarely available. They were around $400 2 months ago.
I’ve had Reid’s on my JK since 2010. PR 44, ARB 5.13s, RCVs, Synergy tierod and drag link, no issues with any of these parts. Reid’s are high quality.
They were not rated the same as JT rims for loads.
I ran 18” JK rims from my JK with studded winters on our GC Overland and also on Wifeys JT Rubicon last winter.
They fit fine but check what the rim is good for. There’s a thread here somewhere.
I didn’t drive it in winter for 5 years, just started winter use 3 years ago again to get to work. Use Wifey’s Gladiator when it’s real cold and she’s not using it.
I have the Dynatrac ball joints so the clearance is real tight. I guess it could be an issue but I don’t winter wheel and I’m not...
I’ve ran RCVs in my JK with PR44 and Reid’s Since May of 2010. If you run them in -40 the orange boots may split. I’ve had to replace 2 on 2 separate winters. I try not to drive it when it’s below -30.
Other than that replaced the balls and cage once because the clicking was bothering me.
Any aftermarket brake controller is fully independent of Chrysler’s voodoo and witchcraft. I have the Curt harness with the diode spliced to an old Reese controller from my 99 2500 Sport and it works fine. Our trailer is 4500 lbs loaded.
Get someone in the cab to turn the wheel slowly side to side while you’re underneath watching for movement.
(Someone you trust that won’t drive over you)
on my JK it was the factory drag link at around 30,000 Km.
Loose trackbar bolts most of the time though.
Well that would suck it’s a beautiful place but for all the
”NIMBYs”
WTF are you powering these things with?
I’ve been in the patch for 41 years so I know how greasy these oil company’s are but people want good paying jobs and supporting local economies, sign me up.
I’ll relocate to Moab.
