my issue with the 4:1 is mostly centered on 1st gear between way too low for almost anything and I like to have fun in the dunes when 2:72 is beneficial but 4:1 is really limiting.

Their engine/trans skid is going on the jeep friday or monday. My new suspension setup is a big departure from the norm. They are supplying a couple other cool things ill be sharing in a couple weeks
Thats the best thing ive found so far too and perhaps the only one. It’s only a temporary solution so little risk outside some snapped off bolts

Other off the shelf skids use the plastic diesel tank skid as a base and I dont have one anymore
if it ends up being alaska id pick up a used trailer for cheap, have someone put new bearings, tires and whatever else it needs and the sell it when you get up there. If its hawaii id sell it and buy something else when u get there

This will vary depending on tire pressure, wheel width and weight of the jeep. I switched the numbers in my tazer 3 times for my tires and ended up being +1 mph vs gps at 70 mph
