2021 JT ecodiesel sport. Ordered feb ‘21 delivered march ‘21. I can’t tell you how many times people asked me why I “only” got a sport.

2 reasons:
+ the determination that this level of build was the goal from the outset.
+ I personally believe the 4-1 Tcase is a bad pairing with the diesel in every situation except for very steep descents

this is technically a rebuild as the Jeep was previously lifted then reverted back to stock for a few months and now its going to be very heavily modified. I wanted to take my time learning a very long wheelbase before going buck wild. All my previous jeeps were 2 door tj ljs

I’ll be filling in this list as parts gets installed because some of the most important parts going on it have never been on any Jeep before. Ill be using IG a lot to host the pics because it appears to be easy to load videos across platforms

to start, here’s how it looked in May
39” bfgs, 4” lift, couple skids and a bumper.

I love my 2021 Diesel Sport. I get the same question about why I bought the sport. I have worked in the off-road industry for over 21 years and know what works and doesn't work for me and how I would be using this Jeep.

So I ordered the cheapest model with only a few of my requirements:

- The Diesel
- LED Light package
- Heated Seats
- Cloth seats (thought it would be better for my dog lol)
- Tow package
- Bed Liner
- Firecracker Red

I am very happy with my decision. I look forward to watching your build.

I have a sport and a Rubicon diesel Jt I bought the Rubi second because of the color. I own 7 Jeeps and will have to disagree on the Tcase. I take my Sport any place I can take my Tj Rubi or my Jk rubi.I love the off road capabilities and torque of the sport diesel. On 37's with stock gear 4 inch lift I can roll down the highway at 85 and still off road with 99% of our off road club After owning the diesels there's no going back for me actually working on doing a ecodiesel swap for my 12 Jk

The Rubi 4 to 1 Tcase with the diesel is a mixed bag. I can idle up and over stuff and not give it gas. But at times, it wants to push through the brake pedal. Using the brake pedal to control your speed. Feels like you have to use more pedal than you should. If anything happens to my Tcase. It's Atlas time.

If atlas made one with 4hi auto, I’d be so excited.

My 4:1 gasser pushes through the brakes on descents. It needs true big brakes I think.

my issue with the 4:1 is mostly centered on 1st gear between way too low for almost anything and I like to have fun in the dunes when 2:72 is beneficial but 4:1 is really limiting.

Im hoping brakes wont be an issue for me

Also sorry about the music. I have no idea what I’m doing. I don’t know if Instagram was suggesting it or what was going on, but I just clicked OK I guess I don’t hate it, but certainly wouldn’t have been my choice.
