  1. 8 speed done at 22k

ZF are pretty much as bullet proof as you can get. Doesn’t mean they won’t fail. They are in so many cars….i had it in my RS7 and it was great. I think that’s what was in my jeep SRT as well. They are used in all kinds of exotic stuff. Hope you got it worked out permanently.
  2. Does this sound right for tire mounting and balancing

I would let pay more than $50 per wheel. If you buy them at the place you’re having them mounted, typically they will rotate for free.
  3. Ughh..392 swap in JTR or just buy a damn 392

If you are going with a swap, is the 392 the correct choice?
  4. Mopar reveals 250 limited-production Mopar '24 Jeep Gladiator

    Then it would be $97,000….
  5. Mopar reveals 250 limited-production Mopar '24 Jeep Gladiator

LOL which is fine if you paid $45,000 new for your rubicon not $70,000!
  6. Ever Wonder Why A Jeep’s Fit And Finish Might Be A Little Off?

Dont autoworkers make well over $100,000? Unions and all that? They can’t claim the slave driving anymore like blue collar workers in the 70’s and 80’s. I worked at a steel plant after high school for a summer to make extra cash. It was eye opening. Several were former felons. A couple...
  7. ESS Not Avail, battery charging - dealer cant find problem

Yes for me personally I’m a ways off from trying to lemon law it over that. I just got it. Im doing my research before I take it in to have the batteries check so I can talk to the service department with some knowledge. I’m just surprised there haven’t been more lemon law cases with some of...
  8. ESS Not Avail, battery charging - dealer cant find problem

I’m talking more about start stop not working or ever working since purchase of the vehicle and bringing it it multiple times for that (and it being related to battery issues because they don’t fix or replace them properly).
  9. ESS Not Avail, battery charging - dealer cant find problem

If they charge the Aux battery and it doesn’t fix start stop of others issues multiple time, how are they avoiding lemon laws by not just replacing the battery to avoid multiple trips for the same issue?
  10. Aux switches temporarily unavailable, battery charging- even after aux battery replaced.

I bought a new old stock 2023 Rubicon and the start stop has never worked. The “not ready” is always up or other reasons it randomly gives. Is this a sign to get the AUX battery replaced, not recharged?
  11. $25,000 Jeep EV

$25,000 after recent inflation ain’t happening, and a $7500 tax credit to get to $25,000, isn’t a $25,000 Jeep EV.
  12. FLASH SALE! Front End Flash Sale

Make it 20% and I’ll bite!
  13. $25,000 Jeep EV

If Tesla can’t do it I doubt Jeep can unless it will have 100 mile range.
  14. Real world MPG, what are you getting in your Diesel?

16-17 mostly in town with a little highway for fishing. I drive fairly spirited in my 6 speed. It can get 21-22 on flat ground but otherwise it about 20 on the highway up to 70mph.
  15. Ecodiesel Recall 01A HPFP Parts are Available

I learned yesterday that a friends dad has a diesel gladiator that was at the dealer for a year for a fix…..how is that even possible or legal?
  16. Help with pricing

It’s worth it to travel on the deals available. I paid $44k for a brand new 6 speed Rubicon. Nicely equipped but not everything. Tow package, hard top, alpine upgrade, full Uconnect, and a nice 1300lb payload. It would have been nice to have the LED, AUX switching and winter package. But...
  17. Got a rubicon badge…. Thoughts?

Badges? We don’t need no stinking badges!
  18. Hood edge paint starting to bubble.

Making note of all the corrosion threads for future if I keep the jeep long enough. You’d think they’d have a fix for this. Lots of cars use aluminum panels.
  19. Does a bug deflector work ?

I have the bushwhacker and it looks good. I wanted more to protect the leading edge of the hood than bugs but it looks like it belongs there.
