ZF are pretty much as bullet proof as you can get. Doesn’t mean they won’t fail. They are in so many cars….i had it in my RS7 and it was great. I think that’s what was in my jeep SRT as well. They are used in all kinds of exotic stuff. Hope you got it worked out permanently.
Dont autoworkers make well over $100,000? Unions and all that? They can’t claim the slave driving anymore like blue collar workers in the 70’s and 80’s.
I worked at a steel plant after high school for a summer to make extra cash. It was eye opening. Several were former felons. A couple...
Yes for me personally I’m a ways off from trying to lemon law it over that. I just got it. Im doing my research before I take it in to have the batteries check so I can talk to the service department with some knowledge.
I’m just surprised there haven’t been more lemon law cases with some of...
I’m talking more about start stop not working or ever working since purchase of the vehicle and bringing it it multiple times for that (and it being related to battery issues because they don’t fix or replace them properly).
If they charge the Aux battery and it doesn’t fix start stop of others issues multiple time, how are they avoiding lemon laws by not just replacing the battery to avoid multiple trips for the same issue?
I bought a new old stock 2023 Rubicon and the start stop has never worked. The “not ready” is always up or other reasons it randomly gives. Is this a sign to get the AUX battery replaced, not recharged?
16-17 mostly in town with a little highway for fishing. I drive fairly spirited in my 6 speed. It can get 21-22 on flat ground but otherwise it about 20 on the highway up to 70mph.
It’s worth it to travel on the deals available. I paid $44k for a brand new 6 speed Rubicon. Nicely equipped but not everything. Tow package, hard top, alpine upgrade, full Uconnect, and a nice 1300lb payload. It would have been nice to have the LED, AUX switching and winter package. But...
Making note of all the corrosion threads for future if I keep the jeep long enough. You’d think they’d have a fix for this. Lots of cars use aluminum panels.
