Unfortunately that's not how tow capacity works. All the airbags will do is help recover rear sag. Rubicon springs are rated for 7k. If you are okay with 750 less pounds of towing capacity then you are good. (Honestly not sure who actually gets up in that range anyway.)
Badunit also has a...
Do yourself a favor and do only the shocks. I've seen and said this in multiple places but it seems people say the Max Tow springs are some of the better ones in terms of ride balance. (Not to stiff or soft.) Heck, some say the shocks are also a good middle ground.
I do enough off roading when...
If you have a roll up cover then the 8" Billie Bars for sure. The 5" ones you won't be able to more then likely. Unless you are dead set on a hardshell, post in the want to buy section looking for a CVT tent. They had an insane sale last year and I'm sure there is some buyers remorse on an...
You know, I never thought about the bottom of the tailgate being where all the dust comes in, thought it was mainly the gap with the cover on top even with the weather strip. I do enough dusty trails it's a pain. Curious to know how much the side seals would help in addition to the bottom one.
Swapped the 35's for some 32 Winters my old boss gave me. Date code is 4020 and the tread is decent enough for the Winter maybe two if I'm lucky. Either way $132 to get them mounted and balanced at Discount so good stuff either way.
You must have a bare bones vehicle as most do have the physical knobs. I believe you can purchase the panel though and activate it through jscan or similar.
Agree it is nice to use in those situations where you need to be locked in navigating . It's definitely meant to be used in both up or down.
I just changed the shocks out to the newer Rubicon ones when I had my second shock called it quits earlier this year. I've heard the Max Tow springs are some of the better factory ones so I'd keep those.
Forgot to post this but went to Moab over Halloween. @Shibbyjeep your old shocks made it after all. :CWL:
Took my father on law about halfway into Hells Revenge then did some of the alternative routes back out due to the lateness. Sunday did Wipeout Hill sans the hill itself. Absolute blast of...
Tires are notoriously hard to sell since it's outrages to ship them. It's just luck of the draw. I'd be all over these but even if you gave them away the gas cost isn't worth it for me. I do have family locally if you ever end up giving them away then I'll figured it out. 😂
You are about to receive more then you bargained for, lots of opinions out there. (People are going to suggest other tires then what you listed.) I run both the Toyo and Falkens, can't go wrong with either. Toyo will probably be the best bang for your buck.
I bought a Hotheads headliner from a forum member for my soft top and the difference was very noticeable. I hear more noise coming from doors now. Other people have noticed as well, we can have conversations going down the interstate at 80mph.
I took one and forced it over Engineer, Ophir, and just shy of the summit of Imogene. (If I waited for it to cool down a bit so it would give full power would of done it.) It's a lot more capable then people give it credit. Serves my mother well.
