Zip tie the pesky kids hands together in the back seat (make sure its tied into the seat belt) and no need for locks, lol...jk, kind of...I haven't sen anything out that would work, sorry I couldn't be any help
From an overall perspective and the trim levels I would say yes. From a Full size perspective FCA I think wtill has everyone beat, with the Power wagon is comparable with Rubicon and TRX is supposed to outperform the raptor, so there really is no competition for offroad outside of FCA...

the roof rack that @PicklesJ is recommending is what I woudl go with if it was just a 10' kayak, I have 16 foot Sea kayak and ned a bed cap with racks, saving up for ARE or Smartcap. the roof rack is the most economical

Love this idea, hopefully local dealers near me get this idea and run with it, the de3alrer I normally go to is huge on jeeps and Ram's, not much else for sales, having it dedicated to all things jeep including performance and aftermarket mods would be great, not much options other than online...

That would be my suggestion, use the foam board to take the majority of the space, and fill in gaps with low expansion spray foam for windows and doors, then use the same carpet to cover the entire area, keeps things tidy
