I'd put the reverse lights on the 7-pin regardless. It's just starting to seem like an easier means to circumvent canbus issues, as there seems to be no specific wattage tolerance (Likely to variances in trailer lighting)
The combined wattage would still be 2w under. Because we weren't able to replicate the issue on any of our Jeeps, we aren't able to confirm this.
Halogen 921 = 18w
Flush Tail Reverse = 11w
Bumper Reverse = 5w

The wire I specified at the Trailer Tow Harness is reverse light feed. Combine both reverse light red wires there and tap in using the supplied T-Taps. Ground black wires to Chassis nearby or the black wire in the same trailer harness.
Awesome!
At the 7 pin Trailer Tow harness, there is a white wire with orange stripe. Tap into that wire for power for the reverse lights and get them away from the tails all together.
Problem solved with no purchase of LED bulbs.
Are you using the "Plug & Play" adapters?
The 9005 plug side on the "Plug & Play" adapters can be plugged in either way. Commonly, this can be plugged in backwards. Try unplugging and rotating those 180 then plugging back in.
Really depends on the quality of the focusing optic (Glass) used in said projector. This matters almost more than the lighting element itself.
There are a ton of cheaper projector options with not so great optics. Even some OEM headlight projector optics are not of the best quality.
Here's a...
Hey Jason,
Not trying to spam here, but if you're satisfied with the Oculus headlights on your wife's Jeep & are purely just looking for a fun project, we also offer the exact Bi-LED Projectors from the Oculus headlights as a separate kit with drivers.
Check them out here...
This shouldn't be happening with the JSCAN & you shouldn't need to wait for what we have in the works since you have this.
I would reach out to JSCAN support to help you properly config the JSCAN. Several members here have done this and they have proven to be very helpful.
Hey Everyone,
Yes, we do have a fix in the works for both Halogen and LED Jeeps. The fix for Halogen Jeeps will likely come in the form of a resistor. The confirmations you've seen from a couple members here like @cecaa850 are just a bit of testing we've done to confirm this will infact be a...
