Don't worry, the front end will far apart with haste in this one, too.
The suspension / steering parts quality in these is embarrassing.
Anyway. Nice looking truck, new builds are always fun :)
Legit question - is there something about Gladiator fuel injectors that lend them to being pre-emptively replaced when you are screwing around in there? Are yall just doing it because the upper intake is off?
I have twenty four year old stock LS Chevy injectors that still work fine on a truck...
Seems pretty reasonable based on what's there. Connectors and terminals add up fast.
Edit: Dang that would be $300 for two doors 😂
Well if you consider bracketry and labor, still totally understandable...
There isn't any aftermarket solution for that.
I was gonna be a smart azz an say chop them off and replace them with Deutsch connectors - but if the picture I found was accurate there's like 18 wires in one of the front door plugs 😂 Which at that point the only replacement I know of its a...
Both of my Jeeps were washed using regular car soap and water and faded terribly. The cowl panel on my 2022 turned ash gray in less than a couple years.
Mine stay parked outside uncovered 24/7/365
Where I'm at there are only five parishes that care, and if you can give them an OBDII connector to plug into that will show as 'ready' you are good.
So I could gut my Gladiator, put in an LS engine and trans, and as long as that PCM is tuned correctly and all emissions systems show as 'ready'...
When I bought new TPMS sensor for a wheel/tire swap I did not program them. I took my tires and wheels to the tire shop, had the shop break the bead and put the new sensors in then re set the bead and balance, and brought them home and put them on myself. They registered after a short drive.
A fella I knew is nowhere near 6' tall and ended up trading in their Gladiator on a Nissan Titan when they started having to transport two grand babies in rear facing seats.
Not saying it's a definite. Just sayin'.
I had one Roto Pax on the back of my JK stored vertically, so I kept the cap loosened slightly so that a certain amount of pressure could blow by. The can still swelled some, but there was usually a very slight fuel residue around the neck from it bleeding off, which was acceptable loss to me...
Oh!
Forgot about the factory shocks. Three of the four were bleeding fluid by 20K miles.
Didn't even waste my time with warranty. Just put Bilstein 5100's in the truck. No issues since.
Yea I wasn't thrilled with the short life span, but I replaced it with a Metalcoak unit so that shouldn't be a problem again for a while.
99.995% highway / on road. This truck is almost never offroad unless you count driving through my yard.
Louisiana roads though barely quality as 'on road'...
Well since a friend left this 20' trailer with me to do some wiring, maybe I should put my tractor on it and do some testing myself. I havent loaded my Max Tow that heavy yet 🤣
This post and this thread just reminds me of the Walking Dead when Carol took that problematic young girl out into that little field and told her to look at all the pretty flowers right before putting a round in her dome.

Pretty flowers - All the sticker packages

I love the HUD in my Camaro. Speedometer and other small bits of info right in my line of sight. Turn signals, high beam position and tachometer are in it too, depending on what setting I use.
If it broke tomorrow I'd pull the whole dash to replace it with haste 🤣
Never bad to call it someone else problem.
There isn't much I don't know how to do to some degree be it on a vehicle or a house - but some things I just make other folks problem now 😂 Time is one resource I'm limited on.
