The diff breather should have a clamp on it already. It's likely with your lift you don't have enough slack now when fully extended. You might need to replace it with a longer line. It's 5/16 fuel line you can get from autozone

Yea it works you have to go through the advanced connect menu and basically select all the options. It will try each of the connection protocols until it gets to the one that works. Let me know if you have issues and I can go and grab a screen shot
