Having had a Ram 1500, 2500 and now my third Gladiator, I can say you'll really enjoy the Gladiator if you're looking for a capable midsize truck that's easy to maneuver.
Update... I got a call from the GM asking why I left the bumper on the old Jeep and to come get it as the shop techs were arguing with each about who was taking it home next week. So, I went to get it and bring it home.
After a few days to regret leaving the bumper there I was excited to...
I found out Schrockworks closed its doors a few years ago and left people with open orders.
I sent it off to pasture. The powder coat was chipping and rust was forming in mounting holes.
I really enjoyed the diesel and was a bit upset to see it go, but not having to deal with the DPF, DEF and HPFP issue is a change of scenery. I'm jaded a bit though after being around them for 20+ years.
With the turbo at the rear of the engine it’s buried under the cowl. GM recommends replacing the drive belt every 100k miles. Only one way to get to it…
It’s a sad day.
The Schrockworks 1/4” plate winch bumper I paid $200 for and have had on 4 Jeeps doesn’t fit my 2023 Gladiator Rubicon. I’ve never owned a Rubicon and the bumper doesn’t clear the sway bar disconnect. Granted, the bumper was for non-Rubicon models.
Now to find an aftermarket...
