Ditto! Mojave was not out when I ordered my Overland. I like the suspension and rear locker of the Mohave, but not so much the interior choices. Happy with My JTO.
The Rubicon is best for rock crawling and the Mojave is best for sand at speed (plus maybe pot-holed roads up north).
In between those extremes, any of the other trim levels will do just fine off-road if you know what you are doing and don't try anything stupid. (Maybe those two are the same).
I am wondering how far "out" the style department thinks. For example, the JL brought back the two-angle grille of the TJ, combined with the swerve around headlight from earlier CJs.. Will the nextgen after JL/JT emulate the mono-slope JK grille design?
Well, as I remarked to Swampnut, I take your word for it that they are the "same", but to the unlearned, reverse and auxiliary sure don't sound like the same thing. And if "standardized", it would help if colors were, too. If the colors vary, why give colors at all? Just show position.
No need to continue. My only point was that the images with nomenclature and colors you find online are not all the same. To a neophyte, this can be confusing.
Didn't know oiled media filters have been around continuously.
Cars in the mid-fifties had them. Every car I have owned since the sixties had disposable paper filters, which were supposed to be an improvement.
That was my point.
What puzzles me, if restricted airflow is the issue (supposedly, this is why they made the grille screen with larger honeycomb than Wrangler), why does the Overland have those silver inserts that reduce the size of the seven slots ???
When I first went into the showroom, I selected a young woman salesperson. Why? 1) I like women, and 2) Women are (usually) less agressive in selling, and 3) I figured since I knew what I wanted anyway, might as well let the newer salesperson earn the commission.
First question I asked that she...
I've thought that, too. It would seem the technology exists to print one corresponding to the actual equipment in one's own Jeep.
But maybe there is some advantage to FCA to print only universal manuals.. For one, the customer might decide to add a factory option after the fact after reading...
