I think it is. I have a 2017 pacifica (not hybrid). It is the main reason im hesitant to get the v6 in the JT. In the Pacifica it is a turd. Slow and not as efficient as if expect it to be.
Except when you change the suspension tires and add other goodies your towing and payload will still effectively decrease.
The only reason the sport has a higher towing is because its lighter, and possibly has a firmer suspension. If you add the upgrades you'll be in the same boat as the Rubi
I have to do the math. But Ive gotten just over 700 miles on a tank (24 gal) with the ecodiesel wk2. If I remember right the 3.6 doesn't come close in the wk2s.
I also have a 3.6 in my wife's Pacifica with a 9 speed. Its aerodynamic and still only gets 25-27 highway and 17ish in town. My heavy...
Why would you upgrade the axles on the Rubicon but not the Sport? They are the same axles minus the lockers (sport with max tow has the Dana 44 wide 4.10 gears just like the Rubicon).
So the big draw for me is easier city parking and the ability to navigate tight mountain switchbacks. Do anybody have an idea how the turning radius compares to a JL, JLU, other similar midsized trucks and the half tonnes?
Do we have numbers yet?
The only trucks I would consider are the JT, Raptor, ZR2, and Power Wagon. It needs to be a 4 door and able to handle both overland dirt roads and the itch to rock crawl at my local parks. The Raptor and Power Wagon would be annoying in town, a hassle on the mountain pass shelf roads (with...
