  1. Emergency Vehicle JTs

Just encountered a dump truck off the road on I-84 on the NY/CT line, blocking both lanes of traffic for the recovery. Among the many emergency vehicles were these two Gladiators. Couldn't make out the agency or company.
  2. What did you do WITH your Gladiator today?

    Peddlers Glory with some friends
  3. Winch cable routing best practices.

For mounting the disconnect switch, the CenterAK bracket seems like a no-brainer.
  4. What's the competition got the Gladiator doesn't?

The biggest feature I'm jealous of is the A-Pillar mounted mirrors on the Bronco. Being able to remove the doors and still have the factory power mirrors would be huge. As others have noted, a 360° parking camera system would add tons of situational awareness on technical trails. Maybe they can...
  5. If you have a cargo net, what size are you happy with?

I have a Gladiator brand cargo net. It's a good product, but the 4.75 x 6 foot size is a bit small. Anyone have a recommendation?
  6. Vermont: Woodbury Mountain or Belvidere Mountain road?

People bypassing deep into private property has been an issue on my favorite trail down in WV, to the point where I'm worried the county is going to gate the public right of way. Thanks for trying to keep legal trails open.
  7. Vermont: Woodbury Mountain or Belvidere Mountain road?

When I got pulled over at Freetown, the cops were nice as can be. Two vets and two rookies, all on quads. I got the feeling that the older guy who seemed to be in charge wouldn't have even given me a formal warning if he wasn't breaking in the rookies. Bottom line is to just keep the Jeep on...
  8. Vermont: Woodbury Mountain or Belvidere Mountain road?

I've heard about MaBell, supposed to be one of the few decent legal trails in MA. I don't get out that way very much, except when my father in law is racing at Lebanon Valley every couple of years. I can confirm that there aren't any points of interest marked on OnX around there.
  9. Jeep gladiator supercharger

Unfortunately, the New England board is one of the least active sections of this forum. You might get more responses by posting under the forced induction board.
  10. Vermont: Woodbury Mountain or Belvidere Mountain road?

Sometimes it feels like I'm the only one in southern NE trying to get out and actually wheel, but that could also be because there isn't anywhere to go around here. For the most part, I scratch the offroad itch when I'm visiting my mom in WV or my inlaws in PA, but I can at least hit up the...
  11. How many of you want a more efficient 4 cylinder powerplant for the gladiator?

I'd love a plug-in hybrid that didn't make too many sacrifices. I love my JTR, but I'm pretty sick of averaging 12.5 mpg.
  12. Jeeps Parking Next To Jeeps

Found an XJ on the way to the barber.
  13. JT driver heads towards collapsed Baltimore bridge

I'd bet dollars to donuts that JT was driven by the spouse of one of the missing workers.
  14. Final Decision...Which Lift Kit...Buying This Weekend

Oh nice, I'll have to check it out sometime. My wife and I stayed at a campground near there a few years ago (before I had the JT), and I saw nothing but SxS headed towards Jericho Mountain.
  15. Goose Gear Rear Seat delete - Carpet/Rubber Pattern

I like the idea of peel and stick carpet squares and cutting out the access panels with a razor knife. I went the lazy route and just cut a big rectangle out of a carpet remnant to cover most of the GG and keep my dog from sliding around.
  16. Final Decision...Which Lift Kit...Buying This Weekend

I've been trying to find more info on the New England section of the Appalachian Byway, but all the links I have stumbled across are dead. I've scoped out some Class IV roads on Onx and have some options, but I'm always looking for a challenge. I wonder if that state park was Jericho Mountain...
  17. Video: Offroading in Vermont (in a snowstorm) - Class 4 trails

Where in Vermont? I'm heading up there next month and looking for fun trails.
  18. Final Decision...Which Lift Kit...Buying This Weekend

I'm headed to Vermont with my JTR next month and looking for fun trails, if you have any suggestions.
  19. they just took angry grills and said...hold my beer!

It has the face of a Gremlin (and I don't mean AMC).
  20. Recovery That Almost Kills A Dude!

When I was maybe 10, one of my neighbors managed to run over himself with a tractor. Broke his pelvis, spine, fractured his skull, took over a year to start walking. He was 15 at most.
