Just got back from a trip in the Outer Banks NC. Had a blast.

Not today…but yesterday…..
Got the boat wet for the first time this season. First time towing with the JT outside a test run. Towed nicely!!!
Backing the trailer/boat into the water… BEEP BEEP BEEP constantly… At that time, we didn’t even think about the sensors and didn’t even realize you could turn them off.. We know now!!!

On a small 94 acre - electric only lake with 25% of it roped off for the spawn area. This lake has always produced for us (Dropshot!!). We’re located in southern PA….We caught 25-30 fish between us and a couple really nice ones…. 17-18”.
We forgot to put batteries in the scale…. but they were probably only close to 3lbs. Anything above 4 lbs are pretty rare around here…..People actually keep & eat them (15” is minimum here during open season). Right now…we’re in spawn season (April 15-June 15th) Catch & immediate release.

Looking forward to the rest of the summer!

On Saturday we took a couple of grandsons to Rowher OHV to Bouquet Reservior overlook

On Sunday we took them to the top of the hill by my house. (Dagget Creek trail)

This is the third and final video from Tillamook Forest BOH trails.
This one started out at an hour and 45 minutes but I cut it to 25 minutes.
I cut it down by speeding up most of the trail 5x but set it to real time speed for the obstacles.
I have the time signatures and captions to help anybody who wants to jump past all the narrow winding trail sections to just the rock sections.
I also figured out how to add my own music instead of the tunes supplied by my video software.
1:00 mins, 1st rock obstacle
4:40, 2nd rock obstacle
7:30, 3rd rock obstacle. This is the largest and most difficult rock section which I took the bypass instead.
11.30 is a tight turn that had me stuck for about 5 minutes. I didn't slow it down but am just pointing it out.
16:30, had to stop to explain to my wife (passenger side spotter) the line I needed to get past a stump.
17:20, 4th rock obstacle
18:00, start of Saddle Up 1 trail, not slowed down.
21:10, start of Saddle up 2
23:15, Last rock obstacle which is also the end of Saddle up 2 and also the video.

So if you're bored and have 25 minutes to burn check it out.

Treated her like a princess yesterday and like a work truck today! Removed a couple infected palm trees off my property stumps and all….thanks to the awesome neighbors who assisted after my “CHINA” tow strap snapped on the 2nd or 3rd tug! They saved the day.
