Drive yours west. Many of us would love to meet up and do some trails.
..... it's over 2,000 miles to Moab/30 hours of driving (not including traffic). I just googled it... :)
I'd have to burn off 6-8 vacation days and a bunch of hotel rooms just to get out there and back home. That's just crazy.....

If I was 25 years younger..... Maybe. We just can't handle all that driving (at our age).
I'd rather save my vacation day for other things.😊

And yes...... as you age, you get SOFT............and weak.... and achy... and less energetic. 😂

I’m not young, but I like driving. I did a round trip to FL and back last month, with a few days stop in TN on the way back. Met some nice people, did spring break with the family in FL, and got some trails in. I put 5000 miles on it in 3 weeks.

Last trip to Moab, me and the boys ran into another couple in the back of Arches NP. We tagged up and cruised around on some rough roads. At one point we were enjoying the view and BSing. They were in a rental on 35s from a smaller outfit. Said they fly out from NY every year for the last 5 or 6 years. Figured they saved enough in fuel and time to pay for the rental. They obviously enjoyed it, if they keep going back.

I'd do that in a hearbeat!!! I flew out there back in 2000 and hung out with TTORA (Tacoma Territory Offroaders Association). I had a 96 Toyota Tacoma back then when the offroad itch started. Rode shotgun with a fellow member that I'd never met..... in a stock old 1985 Toyota truck. I remember the trail Chicken Corners. I remember this cliff above the river (we laid down at the edge)....I think it was one of the highest points above the river. It was stunning! I had such a blast with those folks!! I think the husband needs to experience it one of these days.....

People Work?
Yesterday, my brother, my wife, and I finished getting all of the furniture out of my dad's house. About 50/50 between Goodwill and the landfill. 3 trailer loads.

I brought his old Snapper mower home. I'd put a new engine in it a few years ago, before he got unable to use it. So I guess I felt obligated.
Got it fired up pretty easily this morning.
Cleaned it up.
Hauled it to a local thrift store that gives all proceeds to special needs kids in the community, and donated it to them.

Got home and took them a few more things I didn't need. Cleaning out someone else's old junk makes you think about how much crap you hang on to.

Then I did some fishing. Gladiator not involved in that project.

All good activities on that list.
Ending with a nice bass.
I need to get back to fishing regularly.
Part of why I bought the Gladiator.
I have a great backwoods stream that I'm waiting for the water to settle from the spring storms so I can find the fish.

I'm 68. Live south of Pittsburgh. My wife's family is in the Denver area. Have 2 boys in Co. and one in NM. We drive out there at least twice a year. And been to Moab 6 times. Have done most of the trails there. Don't tell me about being 25 years younger.

Which two did you do? I did the four of them in October when I passed through there.
Quartz Canyon & Snake again. I just hadn't registered for the BOH program last time I did Snake. Much easier the second time thru. I was kinda having a laugh at the group in front of me, even though I was the only Gladiator and I was making the turns on Snake better than some JLUs were. They seemed pretty inexperienced.

I don’t think you’d have an issue with the other two if you thought those weren’t bad. They’re really not bad at all. Very beautiful area.
